The only time now when people are forced to sit in the back of a bus is when all the other seats are full. DeepSpill -- Evidence of Foreknowledge in the Gulf

I would like to thank my friend "MsMilkytheclown" of Youtube, real name withheld, for tipping me to this story, and to the man known as "afterthepress" for the video. After speaking with a researcher who was aboard the first ship on scene after Deepwater Horizon exploded, the Pelican, he discovered a government report from 2001, summarizing the results of a study done the previous year off the coast of Norway. The purpose -- to determine what would happen if a deep water petroleum spill occurred. The description of the operation, according to the government's MMS / BOEMRE web site:

A joint industry project (JIP) was formed between the MMS and 23 different oil companies to conduct this research. The project consisted of an experimental release of oil and gas conducted in June 2000 off the coast of Norway. Mixtures of crude oil and natural gas, diesel oil and natural gas, as well as only natural gas were released at approximately 800 meters water depth. The goal was to simulate a blowout or pipeline rupture in deep water and obtain data to verify the predictions of a deep water blowout model being developed under a separate contract. In another, related, research project, experiments were conducted in a simulated deep ocean environment created in a high pressure chamber located at the University of Hawaii.

You can download and read the documents themselves at the link I provided above, but I'll save you some time by skipping to the one very important paragraph that is buried in all the technical jargon and mathematical formulae. From page 89 of the Final Report of BP's and the government's deep spill operation:

Figure 7.3.14 shows the normalised concentration profiles of the homologous series of Naphthalenes. The results show the peak ratio between the Naphthalenes and Fluoranthene at maximum depth of sampling (250 m). The different Naphthalenes have a ratio of 15-30% compared to the same ratios in fresh crude oil. This reflects the initial dissolution from the discharge point and up to 250 meters depth. From 250 meters depth and up to approximately 10 meters, the individual ratios decrease to 0.

The interpretation of this result is that the oil is water-extracted on its way up to the sea surface. The rate of this extraction is dependent on the solubility of the compounds in the water, such that the most soluble compounds are dissolved first. Close to the surface, the Napthalenes are almost completely extracted from the oil. These data may thus serve as a basis for estimates of the rates that various water-soluble oil compounds dissolve into the seawater. This is important information, because the water-soluble compounds are generally the most toxic ones when exposed to marine biota. The results from these measurements show that the rising of the oil through the water column represents a kind of a “stripping” process of some of the most toxic compounds in the oil. The end result is therefore that a portion of the most toxic compounds is left in the water column. This is contrasted to a surface generated slick, where a portion the most toxic compounds merely go into evaporation rather than dissolving into the sea.

And most people probably wouldn't even spend the time to read through these two very boring paragraphs to get to the meat at the very end:

There it is -- the government knew, based on an experiment in which they participated, that the most toxic chemicals released in a deep-water petroleum spill would remain the the water column, and not evaporate, as they are claiming the really nasty stuff miraculously has. This report tells us why the Barry Soetoro administration has refused to sample water, soil and wildlife in the afflicted areas, and why Homeland Insecurity has been forcibly confiscating samples from independent researchers. This is why it is now illegal to dig and make sand castles on Florida beaches, lest a child uncover BP's oil that is sitting just inches below the new sand the company covered it over with.

This report proves that BP and the federal government knew since day one what they have been denying, but that which is undeniable to local media, local authorities, and the poor people of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida -- the poisons are out there, in the water, and they're not going away. No longer can President Soetorobama deny that the massive fish kills which have been seen from Louisiana all the way to New Jersey are the result of spurious, random anoxia in the water. The Minerals Management Service's own study says that the worst toxins remain suspended in the water column, not breaking down, not evaporating, not settling on the ocean floor where they would be less harmful to life.

These chemicals are carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic. And they're still floating in the Gulf of Mexico. I'm not expecting Barry Soetoro to have been aware of this report. But the MMS had the study in their files, and the information must have made its way up through his eco-fascist Czars to the President himself. The fact that he continued to play dumb, continued to reassure the American people that there was no threat to wildlife or human life in the Gulf, and that the seafood was and still is perfectly safe to eat means that he engaged in purposeful deception. Like so many other aspects of the Gulf oil disaster, BP and Barry Soetoro have been covering up what they really know. What else are they lying to you about?

White House Blocked NOAA Report on Oil Disaster

The White House blocked efforts by federal scientists to tell the public just how bad the Gulf oil spill could have been.

That finding comes from a panel appointed by President Barack Obama to investigate the worst offshore oil spill in history.

In documents released Wednesday, the national oil spill commission reveals that in late April or early May the White House budget office denied a request from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to make public the worst-case discharge from the blown-out well.

This is neatly ironic. The panel appointed by President Soetorobama to investigate BP's oil terror has found that the White House itself prevented the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration from releasing a report detailing their worst-case disaster scenario. Remember in the first days after Deepwater Horizon exploded the government and BP were lying, telling the media and public that only a couple hundreds or, at worst, thousands of barrels were thought to be leaking per day. And literally every couple of days for months on end, the number was ratcheted up until it was in the millions per day.

I'll recap, pun intended what I believe happened at MC252. I believe that BP, with the cooperation of Barry Soetoro, to whose campaign it donated in 2008, ran a false flag terror operation. Like all the globalists' moves, this had many facets to it, and multiple goals. For the globalist ruling elite themselves, I maintain that they wanted to damage both the economy and the population of the United States. Everyone knows the economy in the Gulf of Mexico has been decimated, and we are seeing more evidence every day that people are getting sick and that the flora and fauna are dead and dying.

There is evidence now mounting that the oil and dispersants are not only affecting the Gulf itself, but are beginning to affect Europe and Asia -- the currents which carry warm water from the Gulf of Mexico over to those continents has slowed because of the presence of BP's sludge. There are reports that Europe will experience its coldest winter in 1000 years. Widespread crop failures and animal kills are likely if that occurs. It's perfect for the Luciferian, inbred elites whose greatest pleasure is in killing people and making others suffer.

For BP's cooperation in blowing up their own oil rig, keeping the oil and methane flowing until enough had entered the ocean for it to affect the ocean current, and for spraying Corexit all over the place to sicked the residents of the Gulf, they were to get the carbon tax which they wrote passed through Congress, propelled by "Barack Obama" and his wonderful popularity. Only that didn't work out -- Barry Soetoro's popularity along with Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Reid's dropped much more quickly than they had estimated. After the debacle of the health scare deform legislation cram-down, Congress chickened out on the carbon tax, at least until the lame-duck session in November and December.

What Barry Soetoro was promised by his handlers for his own cooperation is more government control over the energy industry, and more control in the hands of the EPA over anything related to the environment, which is virtually everything. It all would have worked perfectly according to plans if the globalists had decided to trigger the oil terror operation and carbon tax issue before angering the American people with Obamacare. That simple juxtaposition means that not all the goals of the operation were achieved, at least for now. And now we hear that Barry Soetoro ordered NOAA to keep secret the extent of the disaster's possibilities. Why? To protect BP from future lawsuits, simple as that.

I can guarantee you that as long as Soetoro is in charge, the government will never move to tell the truth about what really happened in the Gulf of Mexico. And I don't believe that a Republican administration would be too interested in re-investigating the matter in the future. If the truth is to be made known, it is up to individual citizens to report and inform others.

Google CEO: We Stop Just Short of Creepy

Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, has described his company’s policy: “Google policy is to get right up to the creepy line and not cross it.”

Schmidt was talking to The Atlantic about the possibility of a Google implant – a chip under your skin that would track you and provide easy web access. That, Schmidt said, was probably over ‘the creepy line’.

However, he followed that by saying: “With your permission you give us more information about you, about your friends, and we can improve the quality of our searches. We don’t need you to type at all. We know where you are. We know where you’ve been. We can more or less know what you’re thinking about.”

Some might argue that that is over the line too but Google will only read your mind “with your permission”, so that’s a relief.

OK, so this isn't creepy? Eric Schmidt, the verminous CEO of the NSA- and CIA-run Google, admitting that they know what you're thinking about? I guess it's only creepy if you're like me, and would rather use a search engine, Startpage, that doesn't track and store everything you do on their properties. It's a matter of record that the CIA funded the creation of Google through a contract with In-Q-Tel. The two worms that ostensibly created Google get free parking for their jumbo jet on NASA grounds in California. Google is the online domestic surveillance arm of the federal government, plain and simple. If Google knows where you are, where you've been and what you're thinking, then the government does as well. And this creep Schmidt doesn't think that's creepy? But he'll eventually wind up in a FEMA camp just like the rest of us. When there are no more people using the Internet, there will no longer be a need for Google to have a CEO. Gay Saudi Prince Murders Lover in London

A gay Saudi prince beat and strangled his male servant to death in a frenzied sexual assault at their luxury London hotel suite, a court heard on Tuesday.

Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir al Saud, 34, who is a grandson of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, killed Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz on February 15 after abusing him for weeks, the court heard.

The 32-year-old victim was found with severe injuries including bite marks on his cheeks in a bloodstained bed in the suite at the Landmark Hotel, which he was sharing with the prince, prosecutors said.

Prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw told the jury at the Old Bailey in London, England's Central Criminal Court, that Saud had admitted the lesser charge of manslaughter but denied murder and a separate count of grievous bodily harm.

I thought that homosexuality was illegal in the Muslim world, punishable by beheading. As with people with wealth and political power all around the world, there is a different set of rules it seems.

Saud told police they drank at the hotel bar until the early hours of the morning on February 15 before returning to the room and that when he woke in the afternoon he could not rouse the victim, the court heard.

I also thought that practitioners of The Religion Of Peace were forbidden from drinking alcohol before having their gay sex. Again, the exalted Prince seems to be immune from the rules that King Abdullah's subjects are forced to follow over there in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Royal family is a blight on the people they claim to have the divine right to rule over. L.A. School District Wants Students to Thumb-Scan for Lunches

The Los Angeles Unified School District is pushing a plan to fingerprint some students before they can get their lunches.

Critics say the plan to biometrically identify students could lead to civil rights violations, but the district insists a cashless food system would pose no security or privacy risks.

Superintendent Ramon Cortines says struggling students who receive free lunches would no longer have to pay with embarrassing tickets. The plan is also designed to save money while speeding up long lines.

Hey kids, its not your fault that we've destroyed the economy by design and your parents can no longer afford to pay for your lunches. And we globalists love children so very much... We don't want you to have to get your free lunches with those embarrassing tickets any longer. We have a fun new system for you! Just thumb scan and its yours -- those evil children whose parents still have jobs will never know you're getting a free lunch because everyone will be scanned, and their lunch cost will simply be subtracted from an account. Everyone feels better when you thumb scan for your lunch!!!

This is another example of the globalists getting children used to being spied on, tracked, traced and databased as Alex Jones calls it, having no illusion or reality of personal privacy whatsoever. And since children are growing up surrounded by this surveillance society they think that that is normal. I hated having to submit my thumb for biometric reading and storage the last time I had to renew my driver's license. But kids who only know thumb scanning and the cashless society will think nothing is odd about it. Paying in cash and paying without having to identify yourself or having the government track all your purchases would seem old-fashioned, outmoded, inconvenient, uncool.

And you can bet that the thumb scanning system that the L.A. Unified School District wants to impose on the children will not be used simply for payment tracking, it will evolve to track what the children are eating. Too much junk food or sugared sodas bought at the snack bar in high schools and parents will receive automated notifications in the mail that their children are not eating healthily. And then a few years after that policy is in place, after X number of such notifications in a given period of time, Child Protective Services will pay little visits to the parents of such children.

Like most of the globalist elite's programs, this push for worldwide biometric scanning and tracking of people starts out seeming harmless. But it represents an inexorable creep towards total government domination of the citizens. We adults have a duty and obligation to the children in schools now and to future generations to resist this sort of slowly encroaching tyranny while we still have a chance, before the full systems are implemented. If we don't it will be from thumbs up to thumbs scanned in one generation.

Adm. Thad W. Allen announced today that after completing his service as national incident commander of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, he will join the RAND Corporation as a senior fellow, effective Oct. 4. . .

Allen will be based in the RAND office in Arlington, Va., and will focus his work on homeland security, ocean policy and defense policy issues.

His work at RAND initially will be concentrated in the RAND Homeland Security and Defense Center, a joint center of the RAND National Security Research Division and RAND Infrastructure, Safety, and Environment. The center conducts analysis to prepare and protect communities and critical infrastructure from natural disasters and terrorism. Center projects examine a wide range of risk management problems including coastal and border security, emergency preparedness and response, defense support to civil authorities, transportation security, domestic intelligence programs, technology acquisition and related topics.

This to me is very suspicious. Of all the places that retired Admiral Thad Allen could end up, the man allegedly in charge of the response to BP's Gulf oil disaster/terror operation, it is the RAND Corporation. RAND is capitalized because it stands for Research ANd Development. It was created by the U.S. Air Force just after World War II ended, under a contract with the Douglas aircraft corporation. It is a globalist think tank and policy and technology development center.

There were two possibilities regarding Allen's performance as President Soetorobama's point-man for the oil disaster -- he either was a complete submoron, as I had been calling him, or he knew what was really going on but was carrying out the orders given to him by BP and Barry Soetoro. Whichever way it was, he performed miserably. I am now changing my opinion of the man -- my view of him had been the former possibility, but I now believe that he was very intelligent, and sold the Gulf of Mexico down the river, so to speak, in order to enhance his own personal situation. I think that his new job with RAND is his reward for being a good lapdog and helping to convince the American people that the Gulf oil disaster ended on July 15.

It would be nice if the government would use RAND and their other resources to actually do research on the environmental impact of BP's deadly mix of oil, methane, Corexit, PAHs and all the other poisons they released, then development of a plan to actually clean up the mess. But they won't. The criminal, rogue American government will continue to hide the extent of the disaster. Perhaps they decided to offer Thad Allen a high-paying job at RAND to keep him from picking up new hobbies, say like writing non-fiction books. This may be a simple coincidence, but to me it stinks. To land at a top globalist organization just weeks after the charade of declaring the well dead would be a very rare coincidence.

Police in Newfoundland and Labrador will be able to pull over drivers without having to give a reason beginning Friday.

Legislative changes made to the Highway Traffic Act to address safety on the province's highways come into effect Oct. 1.

Government Services Minister Kevin O'Brien said it's part of an effort to crack down on impaired driving.

"We brought that forward because the police were having a problem in regards to having a specific item to pull a driver over, had to be visual and if you didn't have a specific item to pull them over and they were impaired or under the influence of drugs, or whatever, there is a perception that it wouldn't hold up in court," O'Brien said Thursday.

You read that correctly -- now the police in Newfoundland can pull you over in your car for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Completely unfounded, you may now be legally detained by law enforcement. Illegal detainment made legal, and as always, the erosion of citizens' rights comes disguised as positive thing -- in this case to help combat drunk driving. No one believes that people who are impaired due to alcohol or drugs should be able to drive, but the Canada has just fallen off the slippery slope, and broken its back on the rocks below.

This is East Germany circa 1950 come to our neighbors to the north. How often unscrupulous police officers will use their newly found Stasi power remains to be seen, but the mere fact that that power now exists should terrify not only the good people living in Newfoundland, but people all around the world. Governments love precedents, and you can bet that copycat legislation will be introduced in other areas of the globe. U.S. Issues Euro Travel Advisory, Citing Terror Threat

Strong concerns that terrorist teams in Europe have selected their targets, completed their surveillance, eluded capture and are now ready to strike at airports and tourist attractions have prompted the State Department to ready a highly unusual travel advisory for Europe, multiple law enforcement and intelligence sources tell ABC News.

Intelligence and law enforcement officials have information that the teams could at any time launch a "Mumbai style" terror attack that targets civilians for death or hostage taking. The 2008 Mumbai attack used small arms and explosives to kill 175 people and paralyze the Indian city for days. . .

Officials said earlier that Osama bin Laden had approved or blessed the attack plan.

Osama bin Laden, an admitted CIA asset, has been dead since December of 2001. I don't think the government realizes that this knowledge is in the hands of informed citizens. The fact that they keep trying to scare the American people with threats of fake terror attacks is laughable. We know what is going on. The government was able to fool us all, myself included, with the false-flag attacks of September 11, 2001. We were fooled into accepting the Department of Homeland Security and the so-called Patriot Act.

It turned out that that legislation was actually named accurately, unlike most bills passed. The law was meant all along not to protect the people from terrorists, but to protect the government from patriots. And the government is rapidly losing its grip over the American people, as more and more citizens become awakened to the planned globalist world government agenda. I'll tell you exactly what this story means -- Europe is starting to turn against the naked body scanners in airports. France has already announced that they are pulling the systems.

Our government is announcing this fake terror threat in advance of more false flag attacks. And then the U.N. and President Soetorobama will demand mandatory naked body scanning for anyone flying, everywhere around the world. That's all this article means. USA Apologizes to Guatemala for Secret Medical Experimentation

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius today apologized for "abhorrent" and "clearly unethical" medical experiments in the 1940s in which U.S. Public Health Service doctors injected Guatemalan patients with syphilis and gonorrhea without their knowledge to study the effect of venereal disease.

Earlier postings: Doctors from the U.S. Public Health Service injected hundreds of Guatemalans with syphilis and gonorrhea in the 1940s without their knowledge or consent in a study of the effects of venereal disease, NBC news reports. . .

1935 The Pellagra Incident. After millions of individuals die from Pellagra over a span of two decades, the U.S. Public Health Service finally acts to stem the disease. The director of the agency admits it had known for at least 20 years that Pellagra is caused by a niacin deficiency but failed to act since most of the deaths occured within poverty-striken black populations.

1940 Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with Malaria in order to study the effects of new and experimental drugs to combat the disease. Nazi doctors later on trial at Nuremberg cite this American study to defend their own actions during the Holocaust.

1942 Chemical Warfare Services begins mustard gas experiments on approximately 4,000 servicemen. The experiments continue until 1945 and made use of Seventh Day Adventists who chose to become human guinea pigs rather than serve on active duty.

1943 In response to Japan's full-scale germ warfare program, the U.S. begins research on biological weapons at Fort Detrick, MD.

1944 U.S. Navy uses human subjects to test gas masks and clothing. Individuals were locked in a gas chamber and exposed to mustard gas and lewisite.

1945 Project Paperclip is initiated. The U.S. State Department, Army intelligence, and the CIA recruit Nazi scientists and offer them immunity and secret identities in exchange for work on top secret government projects in the United States.

1945 "Program F" is implemented by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). This is the most extensive U.S. study of the health effects of fluoride, which was the key chemical component in atomic bomb production. BP Pays Travel Writers to Visit Clean Beaches

Six travel writers — chauffeured around in a limo — are on Navarre Beach this weekend to get the word out that this summer's BP oil spill is over, and the beach, along with the rest of Santa Rosa County, is open for tourism.

Using money from BP, the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council hosted a familiarization — or "fam" — tour for select out-of-town reporters, showing them the pristine beaches and other assets of the county. . .

The tour was covered with part of $551,000 from BP, some of which also funded a voucher program which gave gift cards to tourists who stayed in local accommodations and this weekend's sand sculpture event on Navarre Beach.

BP's outrageous behavior does not stop, even after their well was allegedly capped. The company has just spent over half a million dollars to pay six travel writers to visit clean beaches in Florida and write in their national papers, magazines and web sites that everything is wonderful in the Gulf of Mexico, and that people should not hesitate to visit the region on vacation. BP got what they paid for:

"What the national media has been saying is totally untrue, for the most part, and blown totally out of proportion," Stern said. "What they're going to get from me is the truth. You can come down here, and you're not going to get oil on your feet or tar balls on your shoes. ... I haven't seen anything in the sand other than sand, and I've been swimming in the water."

Apryl Thomas, a freelance writer from Athens, Ga., has written about the oil spill on the coast for several websites and publications, including Southern Hospitality.

"I knew the spill was kind of blown up. I had done many articles when this happened. The way it was first covered in the national media, you honestly thought, 'It's gone,' but once I did a little research and calling, I felt like it is important to let people know everything is good to go."

What can you call these writers except bough-and-paid-for shills? I know -- vermin. To be chauffeured around in limousines and shown the clean beaches by BP's liaisons in this county, and to dutifully include in their articles exactly what BP wanted them to is a disgusting display of lack of journalistic integrity. The Gulf oil disaster has been "totally blown out of proportion" in the national media? Tell that to the tens of thousands of people that have lost their jobs. To the family of boat captain who committed suicide, and those of the 11 men who died onboard Deepwater Horizon. Try telling that to the thousands of cleanup workers and ordinary citizens who have been sickened by the oil, methane and Corexit dispersants.

Nearly $100,000 was spent to wine and dine and drive around each of these verminous shills. That's an awful lot of money for a couple days' vacation. I wonder if there perhaps were envelopes included in their gift baskets at the hotel, because it certainly doesn't cost a fraction of that money to fly a writer in, house, feed and drive them around the Florida beaches for a short trip. The article doesn't suggest this but I will -- BP paid the writers directly. It's paid advertising, it's a series of six infomercials in written form. But the residents of the Gulf of Mexico aren't dumb enough to believe this whitewash. Obviously BP is not going to fly their shills in and show them the beaches that are still contaminated, or new shoreline which is becoming contaminated as the hidden, underwater oil plumes continue to come ashore. We know what's really happening down there, and no amount of BP bribe cash or reporters' lies will change that.

Pentagon Silent Regarding Stuxnet Virus

The Pentagon is refusing to comment on widespread accusations that it is responsible for coordinating a cyber-attack against Iran's nuclear facilities. Earlier this month the Iranians acknowledged the "Stuxnet Worm" had invaded software it uses at multiple nuclear production plants.

Pentagon Spokesman Col. David Lapan said Monday the Department of Defense can "neither confirm nor deny" reports that it launched this attack.

They can neither confirm nor deny... That translates to "It would be politically inconvenient for us to admit." Because then the United Nations would surely move to punish the United States. Stuxnet Worm Infects Computers at Iranian Nuke Plant

A complex computer worm capable of seizing control of industrial plants has affected the personal computers of staff working at Iran's first nuclear power station weeks before the facility is to go online, the official news agency reported Sunday.

The project manager at the Bushehr nuclear plant, Mahmoud Jafari, said a team is trying to remove the malware from several affected computers, though it "has not caused any damage to major systems of the plant," the IRNA news agency reported. . .

The United States is also tracking the worm, and the Department of Homeland Security is building specialized teams that can respond quickly to cyber emergencies at industrial facilities across the country.

The Department of Homeland Insecurity does not need to worry. Stuxnet was obviously designed by Israel and/or the United States to specifically target the Bushehr nuclear plant in Iran. It has infected other industrial controllers around the world which use the same Siemens processors as does Bushehr, but has not activated at those sites. For our government to feign dismay at the spread of this virus is ridiculous. Stuxnet was deployed to slow down the development of the alleged Iranian nuclear weapons program.

The government and controlled media lie to such a great extent that I am not even 100% sure the Iranians are in fact aiming to obtain nuclear weapons. But going off of Ahmadenijad's repeated, heated rhetoric I think it's likely that Bushehr is meant to do more than enrich uranium at a low level only for energy production. If Israel and the U.S. government feel that there is a genuine threat to world peace from Iran's nuclear facilities they should strike them with cruise missiles and bunker-busting bombs. Stuxnet is not the first example we've seen of cyberwarfare in action, but it is typical of the cowards in the Israeli government and of the weak-kneed, anti-military Barry Soetorobama.

John Kerry Blames Democrat Woes on Uninformed Voters

A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

John Kerry is still understandably angry from the 2004 presidential election which he believes George W. Bush stole from him. Or perhaps he believes that he lost because of the same sort of stupid Americans he's still having to deal with now, who were not paying enough attention six years ago to vote for the right candidate. But this sort of patrician, elitist attitude is exactly why not only the Democrats will face severe losses in the November elections, but so will many incumbent Republicans.

Kerry has it 180 degrees turned around -- the reason why the Dimocrats will face record losses is precisely because the average American voter is paying more attention to politics and economics than ever before. Most of the last decade saw Americans concerned primarily with foreign policy, i.e. the illegal wars in the Middle East, that is if they could be bothered to pull themselves away from Monday Night Football and American Idol. The current situation in this country is far too dire for such distractions to be largely effective anymore. Washington D.C. will experience the wrath of the citizenry in a few short weeks. John Kerry thinks it is we who are clueless when in fact he is the one completely out of touch.

Stephen Colbert Testifies Before Congress on Immigration Reform

Taking his blowhard comedy act to Congress, Stephen Colbert told lawmakers that a day picking beans alongside illegal immigrants convinced him that farm work is "really, really hard."

"It turns out — and I did not know this — most soil is at ground level," Colbert testified Friday. Also, "It was hotter than I like to be."

Still, Colbert expressed befuddlement that more Americans aren't clamoring to "begin an exciting career" in the fields and instead are leaving the low-paid work to illegal immigrants.

Staying in character as a Comedy Central news commentator, Colbert offered a House hearing his "vast" knowledge, drawn from spending a single day on a New York farm as a guest of the United Farm Workers.

The Congress of the United States of America has been rogue and criminal for some time now, and that has been readily apparent to anyone paying attention. Now the Democrats have revealed themselves to be insane. During what should have been serious debate on a very grave issue, that of illegal immigration, they invited Stephen Colbert to testify. A second-rate nighttime cable television comedian was called to enter his testimony into the official record, rather than any sort of expert in the matter. He appeared in character, the same act he puts on during his nightly show, uttering such pre-fabricated gems as:

"This is America. I don't want a tomato picked by a Mexican. I want it picked by an American, then sliced by a Guatemalan and served by a Venezuelan in a spa where a Chilean gives me a Brazilian."

But the mentally unstable Nancy Pelosi had no problem with Colbert making a mockery of the hearings:

"Of course I think it's appropriate," she said. "He's an American. He can bring attention to an important issue. I think it's great."

John Conyers tried to convince the comedian to leave the room, but Colbert responded that he was invited to testify by the subcommittee's chairperson, Zoe Lofgren, and would only leave at her direction. He even tried to have images of his own colonoscopy entered into the official record, according to ABC.

I'm not surprised by this mockery of our system, just saddened by it. Many Democrats and liberals get their news primarily from shows like Colbert's, Jon Stewart's and Bill Maher's. Russia to Deny Sale of S-300 Missile System to Iran

Russian army chief of staff Gen. N. Makarov broke the news on September 22 that Russia will not sell the S-300 air defense systems to Iran.

If this is true then Russia has given its de facto permission for NATO and Israel to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. It had been widely speculated that the Russians would sell their advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Iran, obviously for the purpose of protecting "sensitive" installations against air strikes by foreign military. Some analysts believed that the equipment already was in Iran, along with Russian military trainers teaching the Iranian military how to operate and maintain the system. If that has turned out to be false, and this General Makarov's statement represents the official stance on the issue, a la Putin and Medvedev, then we may be closer to World War III than you would care to believe.

There are various iterations of the S-300 missile family, but the more advanced models which Iran was surely interested in can track and engage multiple targets simultaneously. More than that, they also have the capability of intercepting and eliminating not only the fastest fighter jets and bombers in U.S. or Israeli inventories, but can also destroy cruise missiles incoming at speeds up to 8.5 Mach. This would have meant that, in the event of an Israeli or joint NATO-Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear installations, the attacks would either not be successful or only partially successful, and at a great cost to incoming aircraft.

Russia had been supporting the Iranians, it seemed, since the second Iraq war began. If they have spontaneously changed their position, or have been compensated by NATO to do so, and if this report of the denial of the missile sale is correct, this is an early warning that attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities are in the final planning stages, if not imminent. I'm not enough of an expert on the Iranian alleged nuclear weapons program to comment on if or when they will develop a working, deployable warhead or bomb. I only know that if Israel and or the United States strike Iran, it will start at the very least another regional war in the Middle East, and very possibly World War III.

Three massive fish kills in one week in Plaquemines Parish have raised some serious concerns from parish officials and area fishermen.

The latest kill was spotted in Bayou Robinson in the southern end of the parish over the weekend. Right now, the cause is all being blamed by state wildlife and fisheries officials on low oxygen levels, and not in any way related, at least at this point, to the oil spill. . .

"We've got the state wildlife and fisheries checking the oxygen levels, and they've acknowledged that they've seen some areas in the water column where there is no oxygen which is unusual," said [Plaquemines Parish President] Nungesser.

The last sentence is key -- no oxygen. Not less oxygen than usual... None. BP and the federal government have been trying to pass off the massive fish kills being seen all over the Gulf Coast as normal yearly kills caused by lower than usual oxygen levels in the water, they say due to hot weather. Heat can very slightly reduce the oxygen carrying capability of water, but not eliminate it. The Gulf oil disaster is not over. It has barely begun.

Final Test Taking Place to Allow BP to Declare Well Dead

A pressure test on the blown-out BP well in the Gulf of Mexico was set to be finished early Sunday, the last step needed before the runaway well can finally be declared dead.

There was no word from company or government officials on whether the test had started as scheduled or when officials would say that the well had been permanently sealed, though the milestone was expected to be reached Sunday.

The test involves engineers exerting 15,000 pounds of weight against the cement plug to make sure it won't budge. They also will exert 1,150 pounds per square inch of pressure.

So we are being told that the relief well successfully intercepted the nightmare well, that the cement was pumped in and dried perfectly to plug the infernal thing. Overnight, engineers will perform a pressure test as the final act in this drama. Once that test is declared a success to the public, regardless of its actual readings, BP will pull all the ROVs out of the water and send all the ships in the fleet back to port or release them for other assignments. We will then be told that entire Gulf oil disaster is over, and that there never really was much of a problem in the first place.

We will be told by the twisted, verminous management of BP and the Soetorobama administration that life in the Gulf of Mexico is back to normal. Let me be the first to tell you that that will be a lie. Unless God performs a miracle and the well blows out again during the pressure test, revealing the true nature of the problem to the public, almost everyone will believe them and be fooled. The disaster is not over, and, as I wrote a couple of months ago, the actions which BP has performed with their playacting at capping the well and plugging it have only made one difference -- instead of the oil and gas coming out very quickly and mostly in one location in the fantastic gusher that was on television for weeks, now it is slowly leaking out in almost inscrutable amounts from thousands or millions of tiny leak points in the sea floor.

All BP has done is, in effect, to render the problem invisible to the public. The rate of the oil and methane flow into the Gulf may have decreased by capping and plugging the well, or it may have actually increased. No one can know, because these leaks in the sea floor have been spotted as far away as 20 miles from the MC252 wells. There aren't enough ROVs in the world to monitor even a fraction of a percent of all these small leaks. Not that BP wants to monitor them. They have turned off most of the publicly available ROV feeds after people like myself, my Youtube buddy MrsMilkytheclown, the people at FloriaOilSpillLaw.com and Alexander Higgins and Mike Rivero started posting about new, damning video from the ROVs nearly every day.

This is a sleight of hand, a con job, and a further criminal fraud foisted upon the American people. Throughout the entire Gulf oil disaster, BP has and Barry Soetoro have been playing games with the people of the Gulf states and indeed the entire country. More people are getting sick, then going in and having their blood tested for hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds, and more are finding that BP's toxic mix of oil, methane and Corexit is inside of them. More fish kills and dead oyster beds are being reported daily. More underwater oil slicks are being spotted by independent researchers, and locals are finding more oil and tar balls washing up on their beaches.

More people are uploading videos to Youtube showing oily rain that has fallen on their property and in their streets. Levels of toxins continue to rise to even more dangerous levels in all five states directly affected. And the government is conspiring with BP to keep the truth hidden from the public and the moronic national media. Only local newspapers and TV stations are doing real investigations, and the federal government is using all their weight to stop the results from being made known. And we’d been there for approximately three days, and federal agents flat told us to get out. And it wasn’t Fish and Wildlife officers. These were Homeland Security officers, and we were told that it was in the interest of national security. . .

FLATOW: Darren, did take your samples away or anything – take anything away from you?

DARREN: Oh, yeah, they inspected the boat. They, of course, checked everyone’s identification, and they took all the samples that we had. And they also took some notes that we had. The theory that we were operating upon was information that had been given to us by someone who worked in the plant that made that dispersant. And they took everything.

Ask yourself why the agency that was ostensibly created to guard Americans from evil, foreign terrorists is in the Gulf of Mexico confiscating samples from scientists. It is because the government has in its own interests the need to hide the truth from the people they are supposed to serve. The truth is that the damage to the ecosystem in the Gulf of Mexico is severe, and it will take years, perhaps decades for it to recover. The truth is that more people will get acute illnesses, more will develop cancer and other chronic illnesses like neurological disorders over time, and infant mortality and birth defects will increase, as will the rate of miscarriages in the affected states.

So the government and BP may believe that they can get away with calling their game over, but not if enough people keep this story alive. I fear that everyone will lose interest once the ROV cameras are gone and we are blind as to what is happening on the ocean floor. I pray that when the normally spineless Republicans take back some measure of control in the Congress next year they will synthesize a backbone and bring criminal charges against BP's management under the RICO statutes. If BP is able to get away with what they've done, at least in my opinion it would be the most significant evasion since the banksters had J.F.K. killed and the government destroyed the World Trade Towers, Building 7 and part of the Pentagon in 2001. We must not let BP and Barry Soetoro get away with this. Obama Names New Pseudo-Czarina

Harvard law professor Elizabeth Warren, appointed Friday to launch the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, likely won't be the agency's first official director, but she will have a major say in who gets the powerful job.

Warren also will have a broader portfolio of duties, advising President Obama on "policies and programs that are designed to protect the financial interests of middle-class families," the White House said. . .

Avoiding a messy confirmation fight, Obama chose not to nominate Warren to a five-year term as the agency's first director. Instead, he made her an assistant to the president and a special advisor to Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner, jobs that do not require Senate approval.

Continuing his strange quasi-imperial reign over America, President Soetorobama has named yet another Czarina, this time a fellow Harvard creature named Elizabeth Warren. Her job will be to allegedly protect consumers against nasty tricks of the banking and financial industries. Why Barry is doing this is unclear, since he has spearheaded the raping of the American economy by the very same banksters against whom he is now claiming to help protect. This woman and her job are not important.

What is of note is the way in which Soetoro has appointed her, without really appointing her. You see, she is not to be the first director of this new consumer protection department, because that would require Senate confirmation. Instead, Barry has named her as a "temporary" head, but no one knows for how long "temporary" will be. Barry is naming people to positions of power now by making end-runs around the Senate and, in turn, the American people. He is installing his friends and fellow travelers and we have no say in these matters.

Congressional Hearing Set to Discuss Regulating Gold Sellers

. . .A press release from Rep. Anthony Weiner, Democrat of New York, not yet (as of this instant) posted on Mr. Weiner's Web site, announces that a September 23 hearing of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection (a subcommittee of Rep. Henry Waxman's Commerce Committee) will focus on "legislation that would regulate gold-selling companies, an industry who's [sic] relentless advertising is now staple of cable television."

From the press release: "Under Rep. Weiner's bill, companies like Goldline would be required to disclose the reasonable resale value of items being sold."

The appropriately named Congressman Weiner and the equally slimy Henry Waxman (whom Michael Savage calls "Nostrilman" on account of his unusual proboscis) have set a hearing to consider new legislation aimed at the precious metals sellers of America. Two things are going on here -- the federal government and the globalist elite who rule them do not want you to own gold, silver, platinum or palladium, because those metals have intrinsic value. As the economies of the world, and especially ours in the United States, are further destroyed by design, the fiat currencies we all us for buying goods wll continue to decline in purchasing power. But gold and other precious metals always retain their value.

The grand design of the globalists is to bankrupt the rest of humanity, then kill most of us and enslave a "lucky" few to act as farmers, factory workers and sex slaves for the tiny group of ruling elites who will live like kings. In order for this to happen, people must be driven to the point of starvation, where they can no longer afford to eat. But if you own gold, you will always have food on the table. If you convert the increasingly worthless dollar today into precious metals, you are protected.

Our Congressmen and Senators are allowed their positions of power because they are, with a few exceptions, easily manipulated pawns. I can tell you exactly how the idea of regulating the precious metals industry was sold to these two vermin -- metals retailers advertise heavily on conservative talk radio. Rush, Hannity, Beck, Levin, Medved, Hewitt and the other mainstream conservatives all feature ads from different gold companies during their broadcasts. Michael Savage's oldest sponsor is a gold seller. And the alternative broadcasters like Alex Jones almost all run such ads. The radio network on which Alex Jones' show is heard is owned by a gentleman who also owns a precious metals firm.

Weiner and Waxman and the rest of the anti-First Amendment Demoncats would love to shut down conservative and alternative talk radio. If they can figure out how to harass the precious metals retailers out of business or find some way to coerce them into stopping supporting such media outlets, they will. USA to Gift F-35 Fighters to Israel

Israeli government officials confirmed today that they will go ahead with plans to “buy” a number of F-35 stealth fighter jets from US military contractor Lockheed Martin. Reports suggest the deal will be worth $2.75 billion, making it one of the largest single arms purchases ever.

The high cost of the F-35s made the deal controversial among Israeli defense officials, which is perhaps surprising inasmuch as the Israeli government won’t actually be paying a dime for the warplanes.

Rather the entire cost will be covered by the US government in the form of military aid, meaning the US will be pasying [sic] Lockheed directly and delivering the warplnes [sic] to Israel for free.

This is ridiculous. I generally do not comment on matters regarding Israel because I am neither vehemently pro- or anti-Israel. But to be giving away nearly 3 billion dollars worth of our most advanced military hardware to any country is an outrage. The Israeli government can afford the cost of the jets, and the fact that they engaged in a "debate" over whether to "buy" the planes is quite bizarre, since American taxpayers will be footing 100% of the bill. And if it were up to me, none of the latest generation of our military hardware would be made available for sale to even our staunchest allies. All it would take for the enemy to catch up to us in arms technology would be for Iran to shoot down one of these F-35 we're giving to Israel and recover and study the wreckage. Just as the Yugoslavians shot down an F-117 Nighthawk during the Kosovo war, after which they transferred the wreckage to the Russians, who then went on to develop advanced radar systems that can detect the F-117 and B-2, endangering the lives of American pilots...

NOAA's Goal: Reduce Oil Contamination on Beaches To 1%

So far, NOAA’s directives for Gulf Coast beach cleanup include cosmetically washing surface contamination, collecting tar balls, and removing the top layers of certain areas where oil is concentrated.

John Tarpley, chief scientific support coordinator for NOAA, says the agency’s goal is to clean beaches so they have “1 percent of oil or less.” Highly trafficked public beaches are a priority, he adds. However, environmentalists warn that the departure of cleanup crews will not mean the beaches have a clean bill of health.

“They will never clean it all up,’’ says Doug Inkley, a senior scientist for the National Wildlife Federation. “It is impossible to remove all the oil from the environment. That cannot be done.”

One percent isn't much compared to the whole of anything, so why should this article concern anyone? Because one percent, 10,000ppm as it is called in government documents in an effort to minimize public awareness of the severity of this situation, is still too much oil remaining to be safe. The fact that the government's stated goal is to reduce oil contamination to 1% of the total material on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico is an outrage. It should be reduced to as close to zero as possible, which should be in the range of tens or hundreds of parts per million.

I don't care how expensive would be -- this is BP and the federal government's problem, not the American people's. Rather it is our problem, but it is their responsibility to clean up the disaster that they either caused on purpose or were too negligent to prevent. Would you want to go on vacation and let your children play around on a beach that is 99% sand and water but still 1% oil? That's not even taking into account that BP's contractors are still secretly spraying Corexit at night. This nightmare simply never ends, and in fact seems to get worse, despite the fact that BP allegedly killed their well. More evidence surfaces every single day that damage to the environment is bad and getting more severe. If President Soetorobama receives a single vote from the five Gulf states in 2012 it will be one too many. His administration in partnership with BP will have destroyed their economies for years, perhaps decades to come, as well as their health.

Congressman: BP Blackmailing U.S. Government

BP wants the federal government to meet its demand for continued access to oil and gas leases in the United States. If the oil giant can't keep drilling here, its promise to compensate victims of the Deepwater Horizon disaster might go unfulfilled—or so the company claims.

BP's fear-mongering is directed at the House-passed spill bill (officially known as the CLEAR Act), which would bar companies who repeatedly violate safety and environmental regulations from obtaining new leases to drill in US waters. If the CLEAR Act becomes law, BP is unlikely to get any new leases in the near future. . .

BP's behavior is riling a few in Congress. On Monday, Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) accused the company of "openly blackmailing the American government." The company, he said in a statement, "should be held responsible not just for the damage it caused, but for its consistently indifferent attitude to that damage."

Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) took to Twitter for his criticism: "BP threat to not pay damages if CLEAR Act is approved should be repudiated. Bill brings accountability & reforms to the leasing process."

OK, let me reset the Gulf oil disaster for you. I still think that the well was either purposely blown up by BP or that they chose a sub-standard design knowing that it would blow out, in order for the political pressure created by the oil spill to allow the criminal syndicate of Soetoro, Pelosi and Reid to get the carbon tax that BP wrote through Congress and signed into law. Even if you think, as most do, that the disaster was as a result of a string of accidents, the result is the same.

But BP did not get their carbon tax, as the popularity of Soetorobama and the Demoncats fell at a clip that stunned even seasoned D.C. pundits. So they put on the show of capping one well and pretending that no more oil and gas is leaking into Gulf waters. Except that it is, and that we don't even know the status of the other well the company claims they never built, but which I and others have caught on camera spewing oil and methane. Their gamble failed, in other words. BP figured that the probability of getting the carbon tax they wrote passed into law would outweigh the penalties and fines and damages from lawsuits that they would be responsible for. A few tens of billions in payouts to the government and victims of the oil spill pales in comparison to the amount of contracts BP would have gotten for their green energy programs.

But their gambit fell flat, the company's reputation is in ruins and Congress, in a rare act I agree with, is moving to pass new legislation denying new drilling permits to companies with sub-par safety records, i.e. BP. So this verminous, criminal company, which has already done so much damage to the economy, wildlife and people of the Gulf of Mexico, is doing what thugs often resort to when not getting their way. They are blackmailing the government, or attempting to, anyway. BP are claiming that they will not be able to pay all the compensation to victims of the oil disaster unless the government allows them to continue to explore and develop oil wells in the Gulf.

They are saying that unless Congress drops this proposed law, they will not pay out what they are going to be responsible for, once all the government investigations are over, and once the lawsuits brought by individuals and companies in the Gulf states start filtering through the court system. Whether this is blackmail in a technical, legal sense I doubt. But BP are clearly sending a message to the House, Senate, Soetorobama administration (not that they've been any threat) and the American people -- back off, leave us alone, let us drill even more in the future, or we'll stick you with the cost of the cleanup and compensation. De facto blackmail.

I have no idea what the legality of the U.S. government seizing BP would be. I don't agree with the nationalization of industry, as Soetoro did with Chrysler and G.M., and I don't think the government should take permanent control over BP. What I think should be done is for the government to temporarily seize the company, place it under the management of a group of oil experts drawn from other companies around the world, and operate it in receivership until such time as sufficient profits can be siphoned from the company to pay off everything it is responsible for.

The oil disaster is a national emergency and under the executive orders signed by the evil George W. Bush, the government can exercise virtually unlimited power when a national emergency is declared. I'm sure that Barry's teams of lawyers and hiss egghead Czars could figure out some way to legally take over BP and operate it using an independent board of overseers until its obligations are met. Then, when they have paid up in full, BP can be free to operate as it was before. Except I do believe the Congress should go ahead and pass their bill, effectively kicking BP out of the United States once their current wells dry up. No new wells for them. All the vacations and the stress caused by her appearances to tell people what they should not eat have taken a toll on the poor woman.

I feel so sorry for her. It must be terrible to be the wife of an alleged illegal alien who was swept into the White House by Middle Eastern money, an idiot American electorate and the sycophantic, corporate-controlled media, and then be asked to give so much of herself. We should all feel sorry for poor Mrs. Obama, or Mrs. Soetoro, or whatever her proper legal name is.

She has to do so much work, and the fact that she has to perform all of her duties as FLOTUS leaves her so little time to enjoy the little things in life. Sure, she has her garden and moved her mother in with the family and redecorated the interior of her Red House to hers and Barry's bad taste, but such fun things are too few and far between. We should all be grateful that Michelle used something on the order of half a million dollars to fly her friends to Spain and stimulate the Spanish economy. Because this helped, if only for a very short while, to relieve the unfair and tremendous pressure she is under.

This woman is shameful. She has been given the chance of a lifetime to make a difference for the American people on whatever issues she cares about. She eats the best food, has the best medical care and security of anyone in the world, along with her daughters and husband, she flies around the world and appears on the national news every time she speaks... But still this is not enough for Mrs. Soetorobama. America still owes her and Barack more. We ordinary Americans are still asking too much, taking too much from her, sapping her lifeforce like some kind of evil, vampiric monsters. If she only knew how terrible life as the First Lady would be, she never would have let Barry run.

In one sense I can genuinely empathize, even though overall I find her feelings painfully arrogant and selfish -- she probably never thought that her husband stood any sort of chance at becoming president. At best Michelle probably thought that Barry's run would be a great chance to rile up the "African-American" community, because after losing to Hillary or one of the other freedom-hating but white Democrats, the two of them could line up with Hijackson and Sharktongue and scream about the racism of Americans. The Soetorobamas were probably as surprised as anyone when, one by one, the ancillary candidates dropped out, leaving only Hillary versus "Obama."

And then when Hillary conceded the nomination to her husband, after the bizarre, secret meeting in which it was decided that she would drop out in return for funds to cover her campaign expenses and the position as Secretary of State, should "Obama" win, Michelle's heart must have sunk. But not to worry, because John McShame was still in the lead for the general election. Then the economy started to collapse, Barry started closing the gap because of his slick appearances and debate performances, and all of sudden her heart must have sunk when she saw the first polling indicating that McCain might lose out.

How terrible it must have felt for Michelle to go through those awful months before the election, wondering whether her worst nightmare of actually being forced to live in the White House for four or eight years would materialize. And on that awful day in November 2008 when the returns came in... I can't imagine the poor woman's pain and anguish. And we selfish Americans have been forcing her to perform all of her duties as First Lady ever since then. Oh, the agony. Michelle must feel like she was transported back to the 1830s and is being forced to work as a slave on a plantation. We should all thank her for all of the toil she endures -- she thanklessly slaves away every day, flying here and there, speaking to this group and that, eating this flavor of ice cream and the other, just like a 21st century Mother Teresa.

Poor FLOTUS must feel like flotsam, one definition of which is "miscellaneous or unimportant material." That's what we evil slave masters, the American people, think of her, surely. Michelle works so very hard for us but we do not appreciate her. We just crack the whip and make her take another vacation or hold another dance party in the Red House. We should be ashamed of ourselves for demanding so much from the poor woman. And her husband must feel like jetsam, material purposely discarded from a vessel to lighten it -- "Barack Obama" has been tossed aside by most of the Democrats running tight races. They don't want to feature him in their own campaign appearances, and they will not even admit for having voted for his wonderful legislation like the health scare deform bill or the bankster bailouts.

It takes a special kind of woman to endure all the abuse that Michelle does as First Lady. Man Found Dead in L.A. Airport Terminal

A man whose head was covered in a bag and who had his hands bound was found dead Wednesday morning in a restroom at Terminal 3 at Los Angeles International Airport, authorities said.

Airport police were called to the bathroom shortly before 8 a.m. and found a body slumped in a stall, according to sources familiar with the case. They called Los Angeles police, who dispatched detectives with the department's robbery-homicide division to investigate.

The sources said it was not immediately clear if the death was a suicide or a homicide.

Got to love that last line -- so I guess if you're going to commit suicide by asphyxiation, you first want to make sure to tie your hands together... Fresh Black Oil Washes Ashore in Mississippi

A new wave of black oil suddenly came ashore west of the Mississippi River on Friday and Saturday, coating beaches and fouling interior marshes, according to anglers' reports. Oil from the BP spill has not been completely cleared, but miles of it is sitting at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico, according to a study currently under way.

Professor Samantha Joye of the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Georgia, who is conducting a study on a research vessel just two miles from the spill zone, said the oil has not disappeared, but is on the sea floor in a layer of scum.

"We're finding it everywhere that we've looked. The oil is not gone," Joye said. "It's in places where nobody has looked for it."

All 13 of the core samples Joye and her UGA team have collected from the bottom of the gulf are showing oil from the spill, she said. . .

Joye said she spent hours studying the core samples and was unable to find anything other than bacteria and microorganisms living within.

"There is nothing living in these cores other than bacteria," she said. "I've yet to see a living shrimp, a living worm, nothing. . ."

"Nobody should be surprised," Joye said. "When you apply large scale dispersants, it goes to the bottom -- it sediments out. It gets sticky."

A layer of oil two and a half inches thick coating the ocean floor, 16 miles away from the site of BP's wells has been found. Just yesterday, an entirely new, shallower-lying plume of hydrocarbons was found by researchers, miles long and hundreds of yards wide. Nothing is living besides microbes where the oil has settled. But BP and Soetorobama say the crisis is over. Sure.

Michelle Obama Urges Restaurants to Reduce Calorie Counts

First lady Michelle Obama is prodding the nation's restaurants to add more healthy options to menus, label those items more prominently and market nutritious foods to kids.

Speaking to the National Restaurant Association on Monday, Mrs. Obama pleaded with restaurants small and large to take a little butter or cream out of their dishes, use low fat milk and provide apple slices or carrots as a default side dish on the kids' menu.

Mrs. Obama said that Americans are spending half their food dollars outside the home and eating a third of meals in restaurants. She asked the restaurants to rethink the food they offer and reformulate their menus to help combat childhood obesity.

It seems that Michelle Soetorobama believes that the greatest danger to the national security of this country is childhood obesity. That's about all we've heard out of her since she and her husband moved into their Red House. I find it ironic that she is chiding restaurants for serving fatty foods and asking them to use less butter and cream in their recipes when she is seen on the nightly news slurping down ice cream cones during every vacation they take. And I don't think she should be complaining that Americans spend half of their food dollars to eat out, not after her half million dollar vacation with dozens of friends to Spain.

Mrs. "Obama" is just as irritating as is Barry, only luckily she has no power. It seems like she purposely says things like this while not practicing what she preaches in order to thumb her nose at the people. It's a constant let-them-eat-cake from the imperial president and his wife. I believe the pair will be much less smug 50 days from now when the election results come in. Scientists Find Dead Animals in Thick Oil on Ocean Floor

The Research Vessel Oceanus sailed on Aug. 21 on a mission to figure out what happened to the more than 4 million barrels of oil that gushed into the water. Onboard, Samantha Joye, a professor in the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Georgia, says she suddenly has a pretty good idea about where a lot of it ended up. It's showing up in samples of the seafloor, between the well site and the coast.

"I've collected literally hundreds of sediment cores from the Gulf of Mexico, including around this area. And I've never seen anything like this," she said in an interview via satellite phone from the boat.

Joye describes seeing layers of oily material — in some places more than 2 inches thick — covering the bottom of the seafloor.

"It's very fluffy and porous. And there are little tar balls in there you can see that look like microscopic cauliflower heads," she says.

It's very clearly a fresh layer. Right below it she finds much more typical seafloor mud. And in that layer, she finds recently dead shrimp, worms and other invertebrates.

BP is planning to proceed with their "bottom kill" procedure once the relief wells are finished to allegedly put an end to their oil disaster. That won't make any difference, as I have written about in depth, since the oil and methane will continue to seep up from the ocean floor. But more evidence is coming in every day that oil did not magically disappear, as BP and Barry Soetorobama would like you to believe. The dispersants broke the oil into small globules, and these have now come back together but on the bottom of the ocean, not at the surface, since Corexit binds to oil and makes it heavier than water.

The real bottom kill is what BP has done to life in the Gulf of Mexico. All the small invertebrates are dead in the areas in which the oil has settled. Massive fish kills have been reported all over the Gulf, around the horn of Florida and up the East Coast to New England. 80-90% of the oysters sampled in Louisiana are dead. The damage will work its way up the food chain, and it already has in some areas. Several communities have already reported dead whales washing ashore on their beaches. People are getting seriously ill. There is Corexit being dropped into swimming pools by the rain. The oil disaster is far from over -- it has only begun.

Dead Zones, Oil Sediment Found 100km From MC252 Site

A new report from the Joint Analysis Group (JAG), which includes the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, found that oxygen levels have dropped by about 20% below average in locations around the site of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

In an unrelated development, a team of researchers has found evidence (see photo, right) of precipitated oil on the seafloor below causing significant harm to organisms there.

The zones of depleted oxygen, called "sags" extend some 100 kilometres from the Deepwater Horizon wellhead. . .

Biogeochemist Samantha Joye, from the University of Georgia in Athens, and her colleagues have found a layer of oilburied about three centimetres deep in a canyon some 30 kilometres from the wellhead. They also spotted dead worms, shrimp and other bottom-dwelling organisms in the same region. . .

“It looks like the benthic infauna [bottom burrowing creatures] were nuked by the oil snow storm,” she adds. “The only things alive in the oil impacted sediments are the microbial flora, and they seem to be happy with all the carbon to eat.”

I hate to say it, but I told you so. Dead zones created by BP's oil disaster over 60 miles from the MC252 site, sea life "nuked," oxygen levels that are only suitable for microbes and no longer plants or animals. More evidence is being uncovered each day that the damage to life in the Gulf of Mexico is spreading and it will work its way up the food chain. Nature is very resilient; let's just hope that we at the top are not affected in large numbers.

Obama Names Asian Carp Czar

The White House has tapped a former leader of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana Wildlife Federation as the Asian carp czar to oversee the federal response to keeping the invasive species out of the Great Lakes.

On a conference call today with Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and other congressional leaders, President Obama's Council on Environmental Quality announced the selection of John Goss to lead the near $80 million, multi-pronged federal attack against Asian carp.

"This is a serious challenge, a serious threat," Durbin said. "When it comes to the Asian carp threat, we are not in denial. We are not in a go-slow mode. We are in a full attack, full-speed ahead mode. We want to stop this carp from advancing."

Commuters who ride PATCO trains between southern New Jersey and Philadelphia should expect random searches of their clothing, pockets, bags and vehicles on their morning trip to work. . .

Delaware River Port Authority Police Chief David McClintock told The Courier Post of Cherry Hill screeners were looking for improvised explosive devices and weapons. . .

“We can conduct any kind of search we want," said McClintock. "We could ask TSA to bring wands or X-ray machines like they have in airports, though we don't think that's appropriate for PATCO riders at this time. . ."

A special Delaware River Port Authority police unit plans to conduct surprise searches at various PATCO stations.

Court Dismisses Lawsuit Against Boeing Over CIA Rendition

By a six-to-five vote, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, reversing an earlier decision, dismissed a lawsuit against Jeppesen Dataplan Inc., a Boeing subsidiary accused of arranging flights for the C.I.A.’s “extraordinary rendition” program, as it is known. The American Civil Liberties Union filed the case on behalf of five former prisoners who say they were tortured because of the program – and that Jeppesen was complicit in their treatment.

Judge Raymond C. Fisher described the case as presenting “a painful conflict between human rights and national security.” But, he said, the majority had “reluctantly” concluded that the lawsuit represented “a rare case” in which the government’s need to protect state secrets trumped the plaintiffs’ need to have any day in court.

The decision bolstered an array of ways in which the Obama administration has pressed forward with broad counter-terrorism policies after taking over from the Bush team, a degree of continuity that has departed from the expectations fostered by President Obama’s campaign rhetoric, which was often sharply critical of President Bush’s approach.

Among other policies, the Obama team has also placed a United States citizen on a targeted-killings list without a trial, blocked efforts by detainees in Afghanistan to bring habeas-corpus lawsuits challenging their indefinite imprisonment, and continued the C.I.A. rendition program – though the administration says it now takes greater safeguards to prevent detainees from being mistreated.

The rogue, criminal government which purports to be lawfully in charge of us all has been using false-flag terror as a sledgehammer to smash apart the Constitution and Bill of Rights. They have been very successful, and this decision is incredible, literally. The Ninth Circuit is the most liberal appeals court in the nation. One would think that the crazy liberal judges in California would jump at the chance to validate a lawsuit on behalf of "terrorists" against the government, for illegal "extraordinary rendition," i.e. kidnapping, and torture overseas. But they did not. Instead the insane liberals have given the government even more unconstitutional, fiat power.

The federal government used to be at the service of the American people, but now has become our slave-master.

The government's "need" to protect state "secrets" now outweighs your need to have "any day" in court, in direct violation of the Constitution. This is the beginning of the end of the country in which we grew up. The government is openly violation its own charter in multiple ways. We are engaged in two illegal, undeclared wars in the Middle East, the Soetorobama administration openly admits that they are leaving our borders open in order to effect an immigration "reform," they are poisoning our food and water, naked body scanning children at airports and now their need for secrecy strips away your right to have your case heard in court.

McDonalds Price Increases Anger the Homeless

Homeless people who hang out at the nearby Golden Gate Park used to get 99-cent burgers at the McDonald's located at Haight and Stanyan streets in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

But the eatery got rid of its Dollar Menu about a month ago. That move, which McDonald's called a simple business decision, means items on the menu are now too expensive for the people who spend much of their day hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant.

Items on the Dollar Menu now cost around $1.50.

"I eat less. I have to get more money," said 29-year-old Nicholas Newhart to The San Francisco Chronicle . He was not happy with the price increase and said, "If I don't have a dollar and I want food, I just end up going to a trash can."

Food prices have increased and will continue to increase across the board. Everyone is paying more to eat the same food than they were even a couple of years ago. Obviously this affects the "homeless" more than working citizens, but to make it out like McDonald's is vying for a cull of the indigent population is patently absurd. Yet that is the tone of this article. I guess the street people of San Francisco will have to cut back on their alcohol and marijuana and hard drugs if they want to be able to afford enough Big Macs to keep them as fat as they currently are.

Hartford City Council to Begin Meeting With Muslim Prayers

The Council announced Tuesday that it has invited local imams to perform Islamic invocations at the beginning of the Council meetings in September.

Though meetings don't regularly begin with any form of prayer, an email from the Common Council called it "an act of solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters."

The email even referenced the ongoing issue in New York. "One of the goals of the Council is to give a voice to the many diverse peoples of the City, which is especially important given the recent anti-Islam events throughout the country."

Council President rJo Winch called it an important move for the Council. "I feel it is very important that, as a Council, we project a culture of inclusiveness in the City of Hartford. Too often it is our differences that divide us. In my opinion, it is our combination of differences that makes us strong," Winch said.

I have no idea if "rJo Winch" is the result of a typographical error. I would say that spelling his or her last name as Wench would be more appropriate in any case. This is a disgusting sycophantic effort aimed toward Muslims, a direct reaction on the part of liberals to the Ground Zero mosque kerfuffle and the controversial planned Koran burning in Florida. The city council does not normally begin its affairs with prayers of any sort, but for the sake of "inclusiveness" they took it upon themselves to grovel to local "imams." ABC News Set for Dramatic Cutbacks

As part of the deep cuts announced this week at ABC News, the network plans to close all of its physical bureaus around the country except Washington and halve the number of its domestic correspondents.

ABC News President David Westin confirmed in an interview Friday that the network's ranks of bureau correspondents, which currently number several dozen, would be cut in half and be replaced with "digital" journalists who would be expected to shoot and edit their own stories.

“We will have as many total journalists as we do now,” he said.

Although the network will keep a minimal staff presence in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and Boston, it will shut down its bricks-and-mortar bureaus there and ask its remaining employees to work from the local affiliates. The Washington bureau will remain open, but its size will be substantially reduced.

David Westin, the longtime president of ABC News, has decided to resign his position on Tuesday.

In an e-mail that Mr. Westin sent to the staff on Monday night, he cast the decision in personal terms, saying that after almost 14 years, he had decided it was time “to move on.” He also pledged to stay in the position until the end of the year to give ABC time to find a replacement.?

Good, it's about time. The mendacious newspaper and magazine industries have suffered massive hits to their bottom lines, and now ABC News is feeling the pinch. FBI Warns of Terror Response to Planned Koran Burning

Infowars.com has received a leaked copy of an internal FBI memo warning of a possible terrorist response to “International Burn A Koran Day,” an event scheduled for the ninth anniversary of the September 11 attack to be held by the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida. . .

Last year, the church distributed t-shirts reading “Islam is of the Devil.” On August 26, 2009, Fox News reported that students were sent home from Florida schools for wearing the t-shirt.

Earlier today, General David Petraeus, currently the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, said the Taliban would exploit the demonstration for propaganda purposes. “It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort,” Petraeus told the Wall Street Journal. Hundreds of Afghans attended a demonstration in Kabul on Monday to protest the event to be held in Florida.

On September 5, thousands of Muslims protested the event in Indonesia. Rokhmat Labib, chairman of the Islamic group Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia, said Muslims must not remain silent when their faith is threatened. Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia is an international pan-Islamic political organization whose goal is for all Muslim countries to unify as an Islamic state. Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslin nation."

This plan by a Christian church to burn copies of the Koran stinks, and not because they do not have the right to do so -- they have every right to do that under the First Amendment. Whether or not I think it is appropriate is irrelevant, because clearly the right is there. But it smells of provocateur action to me. Alex Jones has uncovered a lot of circumstantial evidence linking the people behind the controversial Ground Zero mosque/community center to intelligence agencies. There is a high likelihood that that whole storyline was created by the government to stir up anti-Muslim feelings in preparation either for a planned Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities or a new war pitting the United States against Iran or possibly Pakistan.

I think it is certainly possible that this church in Florida, the Dove World Outreach Center, is either knowingly or unknowingly planning this mass Koran burning at the behest of the government as the flip side of this apparent plan to pit Muslims versus non-Muslims in America. This may be meant to enrage Muslims and get their juices boiling just like the Ground Zero mosque debate has done to nearly every non-Muslim group. Of course it would provoke a reaction, and in fact it already has. Drudge reports that Muslims are already protesting outside the church chanting "Death to America." Religion of peace, and all that.

But I won't blame the Muslims for being furious if the church members actually do go ahead and burn their holy book, its pages be blessed. Christians would be enraged if Muslims burned Bibles. The difference is that Christians typically do not convert internal anger into violent acts perpetrated upon others, and radical Muslims often do. I hope the bonfire does not actually happen, but if it does it could be very dangerous. If Muslims start rioting or burning cars as they do in France, if spontaneous beatings or shootings or bombings begin to pop up in America, it could give Homeland Insecurity an excuse to crack down on everyone in the country. And that would be a great step for the globalists in their endgame for total enslavement, as Jones identified it.

I won't blame the Muslims for being angry if their Book is burned, but they need to remain nonviolent in their protests, and they need to realize one thing -- this is the United States of America, not some Middle East hellhole from which they or their parents fled. They choose to live here, so they must respect our laws, culture and conventions. Michael Savage often says that free speech rights do not exist to protect polite speech, for that would be unnecessary.

We have a First Amendment to protect offensive speech, and as childish an act as burning holy books would be, it is indeed protected. Everyone must remain calm, Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists and all the rest. The globalists would love nothing more than a war to break out between Muslims and others in America. We must work hard to defuse situations like the Ground Zero Mosque and the Florida Koran burning before they produce enough sparks to light this country on fire.

Obama Calls for $50 Billion Infrastructure Stimulus

Vowing to find new ways to stimulate the sputtering economy, President Barack Obama will call for long-term investments in the nation's roads, railways and runways that would cost at least $50 billion.

The infrastructure investments are one part of a package of targeted proposals the White House is expected to announce in hopes of jump-starting the economy ahead of the November election. Obama will outline the infrastructure proposal Monday at a Labor Day event in Milwaukee.

While the proposal calls for investments over six years, the White House said spending would be front-loaded with an initial $50 billion to help create jobs in the near future.

The goals of the infrastructure plan include: rebuilding 150,000 miles of roads; constructing and maintaining 4,000 miles of railways, enough to go coast-to-coast; and rehabilitating or reconstructing 150 miles of airport runways, while also installing a new air navigation system designed to reduce travel times and delays.

Barry Soetorobama wants another $50 billion of your tax dollars for a new stimulus package, this time targeting infrastructure. This might have been a good idea if it had been done toward the beginning of our economic collapse, but the fact is that the enormous stimulus package the Demoncats already passed only benefited the bottom lines of companies with ties to them, and the bankster bailout bill did more to harm our economy than the stimulus helped recovery. I am not willing to give the president or the Dimocrats one single more dollar to spend frivolously.

When I was reading this story something telling occurred -- I noticed that I was thinking that $50 billion wasn't all that much money compared with how much money Bush and Soetoro have spent, and the trillions of dollars which has been sucked out of our economy by their policies and new laws. But $50 billion is a lot of money and people must fight against this. I hope the fake conservatives who masquerade as the Republican Party fight it in Congress but I fear they won't. Because if the money were actually spent hiring legal American citizens to renovate old roads, bridges, train tracks and the rest or to build new ones, that could actually stimulate the economy.

The problem is that all this money that the government is spending with their new programs is new money either borrowed from foreign countries or simply printed by the Federal Reserve. Both avenues lead to inflation, which harms all Americans. So a few tens of thousands of planners and workers could be hired using another $50 billion is wasteful spending, but like the Census workers that Soetoro used to falsely prop up employment figures, these new construction jobs would be temporary. Yes, they would last last a few years instead of a few months, but when all the projects would have been completed, those people hired under the construction stimulus would again be unemployed.

Therefore this is nothing more than attempt by Barry to look like he and Nancy Lugosi and Harry Greed care about the blue-collar, working American ahead of the elections in November. Yes, $50 billion pales in comparison to the $27.8 trillion dollars that Bloomberg reported had been stolen from the United States by the banksters through all of the fraud of the revolving bank bailout program, but that shouldn't stop us from saying hell no to Congress on this proposal.

I don't think this will trick Americans into thinking that "Obama" cares about them -- his repeated vacations and aloof, snooty attitude have revealed the man's true attitude. But the media could attempt to spin conservatives as uncaring if the Republicans do manage to block such a new stimulus bill in the Congress. And the average citizen, while more aware of media manipulation than ever before, is still to susceptible to it. But I can't wait for November, when I think a very clear message will be sent to Washington D.C.

This video is not remarkable for anything it shows, rather what it prevents us from seeing. I will use this, captured from the Olympic Challenger ROV #1 as an example. I recorded this just after 4:00AM CDT on 6 September 2010 directly off of BP's web site, and this is a straight screen capture, altered in no way.

The Oceaneering Millennium ROVs that BP is using for their surveys capture and send up via fiberoptic cable 1080-HD video. That is 1920x1080 pixels, with a full color range and with a full frame rate, which can range between 23.976-30 frames per second if using the standards set up by the ATSC committee.

This calculation will be rough but telling. Let's assume that the ROVs transmit video in a 16-bit colorspace that is the same as the normal mode of a modern PC. That is 16.7 million colors. If you take 1900 pixels width times 1080 pixels height, then multiply that by 16.7 million colors, then by 30 frames per second, you get 1.028052e^15, just over 1 quadrillion data elements per second. Again, this is very rough, since elements such as the video compression used by the ROVs is unknown -- this is assuming no compression, which will actually hurt the comparison in my calculations, but lets just go with that wrong assumption for the sake of ease.

The ROV video feed provided us by BP measures 320x240 pixels in dimension. Taking 320 * 240 and multiplying that by a guess of 32 greyscale levels per frame, and a frame rate of 15fps, we are seeing video which, again without compression, represents 36,864,000 data elements per second, or just under 37 million.

Let's divide the first figure by the second, i.e. the rough data rate of the video BP gets to see versus what they allow us to view. I am cheating and using Google as a scientific calculator since I don't have mine handy, but (1900*1080*16700000*30) / (320*240*32*15) = 27,887,695.3

That is correct -- assuming a 32-level effective greyscale "colorspace" and 15 frames per second in their tiny streaming window, the raw (uncompressed) data rate of the video that BP sees is almost 28 million times higher than that streamed to the public. Again, this is an extraordinarily rough number, but I am confident in its accuracy in terms of order of magnitude. The number of colors the ROV cameras can actually capture at that depth may be limited by the spectrum of light emitted by their floodlights, but there are other factors that would push the exact numbers even more towards my argument. Namely the compression being used, which is minimal between the ROV and mothership due to the high bandwidth afforded by their fiberoptic link, and incredibly higher between that original feed and what you and I see in our web browsers.

Modern digital video compression works on a psychovisual model, i.e. the codec throws away the bytes representing what it believes your eyes and brain are least likely to detect. So video compression, just like the compression in your MP3 audio files, minimizes file size, or in this case the streaming bandwidth, by casting aside the most intricate details to favor of the most noticeable.

All of this goes to say that the operators who drive BP's ROVs and the executives who give them their orders are able to view video which is of such immaculate quality as to be incomparable to what you and I get to behold. What we are allowed to see is literally a thumbnail of the real video, often with the colorspace greatly reduced or changed to greyscale, often with the aspect ratio distorted, always with a reduced framerate, and always with such high compression that we can often not read the on-screen superimposed data such as the date and time.

I'm not claiming that BP gets to see video which is literally 28 million times better than what we do, even though that's what the math says. But they are provided with video from their ROVs which is just as good as that which you see on Monday Night Football. If you don't believe me, view a rare publicly available video for yourself:

Be sure to select the 1080p option and maximize it to full screen or you won't see all that BP saw. That's right -- you can see individual scratches in the paint of their spewing well. The Department of Energy has these feeds, and BP has these feeds. But you and I are limited to viewing a tiny window of blocky, greyscale video like this one. Why? Not because BP is trying to save a few bucks on Internet bandwidth. Because they have things to hide. And have been quite effective in doing so.

A high school student in Northglenn is upset that campus security told him to remove the large American flags flying from his pickup truck because it might make others uncomfortable. . .

"She said I should take my flags down. She said this is a school that focuses on diversity and she doesn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable," Stoppel said. "How do you suppose anyone would feel uncomfortable in America with an American flag? That's where I'm confused. . ."

"Now that I finally get to drive to school, I have a truck, that's what I want to do. I want to fly my flags. September 11th is coming up so I wanted to fly them in honor of that," said Stoppel, who said his cousin is serving in the Navy.

I stole the title from Michael Savage, to give credit where it is due. This happened just a few months after six San Francisco-area high school kids were sent home for having the audacity to wear T-shirts printed with the image of the American flag. Now a security guard told a teenager in Colorado to remove two large flags from his pickup truck because the school is meant to promote "diversity" and she thought the flags might make some "uncomfortable."

Let's not beat around the shrubbery here. Those whom the guard thought she was protecting from being made "uncomfortable" by the sight of the Stars & Stripes are the children of the verminous invading army of illegal aliens. Some of the children of these people are unfortunately citizens, having been made such by our idiotic anchor-baby law, some are illegals in their own right. I do not call the children vermin and criminals, it is the parents who are at fault for either having birthed them here or dragged them across the border from Mexico.

I do find some fault with high school aged teenagers who hate the American flag. Even having been brainwashed by their parents who are of the La Raza and MECHA ilk, high schoolers should have enough independence of thought and knowledge to recognize that the United States is wonderful country. Why these people cannot stop for one moment to thank America and praise her history and her people who have been and still are giving generously of our own resources to provide for the illegal aliens I will never understand.

If the 30-50 million illegal aliens in this country could manage to think for themselves for once, instead of being led around by their noses by the globalists, we could join forces to turn the tables on the New World Order. The globalists brought in this invading army hoping to use them to defeat our Bill of Rights by voting, once they are given amnesty by our traitorous government. If these millions could realize that they are being used and will be thrown away by the NWO once they have served their purpose, they would get as angry as I am and would fight against the Illuminists.

But until the millions of Mexicans and their children and the illegals from everywhere else decide to fight for the country in which they are living, I am not willing to allow their "feelings" to compromise our rights. I frankly don't give a whit if they feel "uncomfortable" because of our flag. It is our flag. It would be theirs too if they had followed the legal procedure to live here. Since they decided to break the law and come here illegally, screw them.

I don't like it when I walk through a parking lot and a third of the cars have little Mexican, Dominican, Guatamalan and every other nation's flags hanging from their rear-view mirrors, but I don't complain. It might make me "uncomfortable" but I would never force someone to remove their flag. Even if they're here illegally. But I do very much look forward to the day when, once patriotic Americans have retaken control of the government, all those millions of illegals will feel "uncomfortable" as they are processed and deported to their countries of origin. Then they can come back the legal way. The American way. Enough "diversity" for now, we can't take any more.

“We don’t have any evidence that oil has contributed to these mortalities,” he said.

I captured this video an hour or so ago, the morning of September 2. On first glance it appears to be simply more proof that BP and Thad Allen are lying when they insist nothing is leaking from the well. We've known that for over a month, ever since they claimed that "top-kill" successfully ceased all communication between the well equipment and the petroleum reservoir. This is interesting because that which is leaking from the equipment is sinking, not rising.

Everyone knows that oil is lighter than water and floats to the surface, as does methane gas. Even the methane hydrate crystals that foiled BP's very first containment attempt have a specific gravity of 0.95 and thus float instead of sink. So whatever is coming out of this new leak is heavier than water, and the only liquid I know of which has been involved in the Macondo Experiment is drilling mud.

Drilling mud was pumped down the well under enormous pressure during "top-kill," followed by the cement plug which BP says completely sealed the well. We know that that seal is incomplete because of the videos on Youtube showing oil bubbles leaking from the top of the capping stack, like this one I captured a couple days ago:

I am assuming that this is a leak being fed from below, rather than new drilling mud (if that is indeed what this is) being pumped from higher up on the well's equipment stack because for one, if the well is sealed with the cement plug there would be no reason to pump more mud down, and also because BP and Allen say they have suspended all operations to remove the old BOP and replace the new one. Yet one more in an endless series of delays, they called off the DDII and DDIII ships and suspended operations until this latest hurricane gets far enough up along the Eastern seaboard that wave heights return to normal in the Gulf.

So, assuming these things, we appear to have drilling mud coming up from somewhere down below. This is not good if it is the case. It would mean that the cement plug is failing. Compare the flow rates of the oil droplets leaking from the top of the capping stack to the much heavier plume coming out from the lower piece of equipment. If the cement plug is deteriorating it is because of the enormous pressure in the petroleum deposit still trying to force its way through to the wellhead.

We know from Thad Allen that the drill pipe has almost no integrity, paraphrasing him, and that the well casing itself is also shattered. So there are pieces of broken metal floating around in there, being pushed up and around by the oil and methane from below, essentially acting like a sandblasting system. What if the petroleum is using the broken pieces of metal from the pipe and casing to eat away at the cement plug? If this is drilling mud coming out from the deep it could bode very badly for the efforts to finally kill this nightmare well.

If the cement plug is eroding and more oil and gas are again making their way to the wellhead, there is the potential for another blowout. When BP takes the old BOP off to replace it with the new one, there will be period where the stack has a reduced margin of safety in terms of the psi it can withstand. The probability is minimal, but it does seem possible to me that if an ill-timed methane kick came up like the one that doomed Deepwater Horizon, while the stack is partially disassembled, this thing could open wide up again and we would be back to square one. Back to April 20, sans the burning drilling rig.

The odds are minuscule, and that is assuming I am correct in guessing that this is drilling mud coming from below. That's not even certain -- it could be some sort of engineering test which I do not understand, but according to BP's web site they are not performing any operations at the site due to the storm in the Atlantic, simply monitoring the equipment with their ROVs and performing biological surveys. I hope I'm wrong, or even if I'm right about the well maybe starting to open up again due to natural forces, I hope the equipment holds the pressure back until the new BOP is installed, the relief wells completed and the well(s) finally killed.

I'm just throwing out the possibility that the disaster may be farther from over than BP and Soetorobama would like to believe. And for once, no conspiracy theories from me here. I think both entities are actually finally trying to kill the well(s) now that their carbon tax has been shelved. But they are having problems and this new leak, whatever it is, certainly won't do anything to help speed up the process. One of the most ironic things I've found in the whole affair is that in BP's application for the two wells, they swore that no experimental equipment nor procedures would be used. Law enforcement identified the suspect as James Lee, 43, from Washington, D.C., who has for at least two years called for protests against the company and who was arrested and found guilty of disorderly conduct for a protest outside of Discovery's headquarters in 2008.

In a rambling manifesto on Lee's website, believed to have been written by Lee, the writer rails against "disgusting human babies," "parasitic infants," and says people should "disassemble civilization." The manifesto also calls on Discovery to "broadcast to the world their commitment to save the planet. . ."

"Saving the environment and the remaning [sic] species diversity of the planet is now your mindset. Nothing is more important than saving them. The Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels. . . The humans? The planet does not need humans," he wrote.

The tradition in the village of Satmar Hasidic Jews is modesty. Even on the hottest of days, most residents cover up from head to toe. But visitors don’t necessarily follow that tradition, and now the main synagogue is asking them to comply.

I can guarantee you that if the community in question were a village of Muslims, the media would be falling all over themselves to promote the wondrous example of religious freedom and tolerance in America. The request for visitors to dress modestly is just that in this Jewish area. Try sending one the media's favorites over to the Middle East and see what happens. Send Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian to Saudi Arabia in their standard dress and see how tolerant and respectful of Americans' style of dress our friends of the Religion of Peace are.

The bottom line is this: in America we have the freedom of movement, of association, of speech and religion. If Tyrone Wheeler, a "day laborer," feels that his constitutional rights are being violated by a welcome sign bearing a request, he needs to read the Constitution. I don't watch his show on Fixed News, nor do I listen to the radio, but he is often on one of the TVs at my gym when I am using the treadmill, so I do catch segments of the show a couple times a week. It's ridiculous on its face the way he cries at some point in nearly every show I do see a part of. That sort of overblown emotion always seemed fake. Now you can see for yourself that it is.

Glenn Beck cries not because he truly loves America that much, and not because of dust or dirt blowing around the Fox studio getting specks of irritants in his eyes. He uses Vick's Vap-o-Rub to initiate the tears. Alex Jones says that Beck is simply an actor and probably working directly for the CIA, and I can believe that. Mike Rivero says that he is used as a media gatekeeper, and I believe that. Beck was installed at Fox News to talk about some aspects of the New World Order while keeping the public in the dark at the worst aspects.

Beck will admit that "Obama" is a Marxist but he will not touch the birth certificate issue. He talks about the banking takeover but not who is really behind the banksters and what their plans are. He goes into great detail about his love of the founding fathers and the basic, guiding principles they used to form America as a free, representative republic. But he will never discuss the total surveillance society we are becoming, the globalists' command-and-control style of government they wish to impose... He will not touch the issues of our air, water and food being poisoned or the toxic consumer goods such as BPA-laden food and beverage containers. He often discusses Soetoro's Czars but will not talk about the worst one, John P. Holdren the eugenicist, who wrote in his government textbook that he wants to save the Earth by reducing the population by means of involuntary sterilization.

Glenn Beck built up his grand exposé of FEMA camps, then ended up debunking them as conspiracy theory by running video of an installation that no serious investigator even claimed was run by FEMA. Wait, I thought there was no Gulf oil disaster and that the beaches and marshes were cleaner than ever? I thought that BP says there never was a problem, and I know I saw Barry Soetorobama on TV eating a fish taco... Only if you paid attention, as Mike Rivero pointed out, the president brought all of his food with him from Washington for his brief Gulf trip.

I do not like oysters or any other seafood, luckily for me, but if you want to grab some fresh Gulf oysters in Louisiana, you'll be eating only 98.75% oyster. The remaining 1.25% will be oil. And not the healthy Omega oils found naturally in fish, but BP's heavy crude. What is even more alarming are what this article for some reason refers to as "polynuclear" aromatic hydrocarbons, or PAHs for short -- I've always heard that class of poisons referred to as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, but the semantics are not important. What is important is what these things do to people and animals and vegetation. Wikipedia says:

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), also known as poly-aromatic hydrocarbons or polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons are potent atmospheric pollutants that consist of fused aromatic rings and do not contain heteroatoms or carry substituents.[1] Napthalene is the simplest example of a PAH. PAHs occur in oil, coal, and tar deposits, and are produced as byproducts of fuel burning (whether fossil fuel or biomass). As a pollutant, they are of concern because some compounds have been identified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, and teratogenic.

Carcinogenic is a term everyone is familiar with, and nearly everyone knows that mutagenic means that a chemical, a radiation source or what have you causes damage to DNA. Most people who do not have a background in a hard science do not know what the third term refers to, and it is the most frightening. Teratogenic means that the chemicals now being found in the soil, vegetation and marine life in Louisiana can cause damage to future generations -- to human fetuses as well as to new oysters, fish, plants and everything else trying to survive BP's oil disaster.

Barry Soetoro has officially announced that Gulf seafood is perfectly safe to eat, and the FDA issued a report stating that unless the seafood should smell strongly of oil, it is safe for human consumption. This is patently false and the president knows it. This is part of the continuing cover-up in the Gulf of Mexico, and Soetoro is trying to keep the true scope of the environmental damage under his new rug he ordered for the Red House until November. Then, after the Dimocrats suffer their worst-ever losses, maybe he can be bothered to start letting the truth out and begin actually cleaning up the Gulf states.

But so far the government has done nothing whatsoever to investigate the safety of the seafood and the crops in the Gulf region. It has been individual citizens, local news teams and universities who have taken up the initiative and gone around sampling and sending the samples to labs for tests. The government does not seem to care a whit about the toxic brew of water, oil, methane and poison chemicals which BP is responsible for, and which the people of the Gulf states are being harmed by. Chicago-area School Tracking Students With GPS in Backpacks

In a bid to set parents' nerves at ease, a southwest suburban school district has become one of the first in the state to begin using GPS to track schoolchildren riding buses to and from school each day.

Palos Heights School District 128 had previously been using ZPass, a GPS technology provided by Seattle-based Zonar Systems, to track the buses. But now the district is outfitting students' backpacks with a luggage tag-sized unit that logs when the student steps on and off the bus.

"A little piece of mind helps you get through the day," says Ann O'Brien, a mother of four children in Palos Heights School District 128. "They can locate kid and bus in seconds."

O'Brien says as she watched her children board and exit school busses today, with the new ZPass cards attached to their backpacks.

Palos School Superintendent Kathleen Casey says the system helps alleviate parents' concerns.

"We can track the bus with the GPS, alleviate a parent's fear if they got on or off bus, look up their ID number and find out what bus and what time boarded or if still on or exited," she said.

Here we have the latest example in the news of the globalists' push to track, trace and database every American citizen and their activities. But they are very clever about it, always introducing their new chisels of tyranny in ways that seem reasonable. Adults are already physically tracked by their cell phones, their habits monitored by sifting through debit and credit card purchases, and their behavior and feelings traced through their email accounts and social networking activities. Younger children, at least those with responsible parents, do not have cell phones or unfettered internet access, so the globalists are looking for ways to track them.

GPS in the backpacks of children sounds reasonable on its face. Every parent's worst nightmare is to return home from work one evening and find that a child has not returned from school. Kidnappers, child molesters and murderers are a problem in America as they are everywhere else. In the news right now is the ongoing search for the young boy named Kyron Horman, who went missing from school, without a trace. The globalists will play on parents' fears to push more systems like this on the people. “Our heads are still swimming,” stated Barbara Schebler of Homosassa, Florida, who received word last Friday that test results on the water from her family’s swimming pool showed 50.3 ppm of 2-butoxyethanol, a marker for the dispersant Corexit 9527A used to break up and sink BP’s oil in the Gulf of Mexico. . .

The problems began for the Scheblers a few weeks after the April 20 blow-out. “Our first clue were rashes we both got early in May. Both my husband and I couldn’t get rid of the rashes and had to get cream from our doctor,” Schebler noted, “I never had a rash in my life.”

Then, on “July [23], my husband Warren mowed the lawn. It was hot so he got in the pool to cool off afterward. That afternoon he had severe diarrhea and very dark urine. This lasted about 2 days,” she revealed. . .

A July letter from four top scientists noted, “Corexit 9527A contains 2-BTE (2-butoxyethanol), a toxic solvent that ruptures red blood cells, causing hemolysis (bleeding) and liver and kidney damage (Johanson and Bowman, 1991, Nalco, 2010).”

The safety data sheet provided by Nalco, the manufacturer of Corexit 9527A, warns, “Harmful if absorbed through skin. May be harmful if swallowed. May cause liver and kidney effects and/or damage. There may be irritation to the gastro-intestinal tract. . .”

BP Press Officer Daren Beaudo released a statement on August 28 that reads, “Unified Command records indicate that the last date of use of the Corexit 9527 was May 22,” almost three months before the samples were taken from the pool.

Yet, the Schebler’s report is the second time in the last 10 days that the 2-butoxyethanol marker for Corexit 9527A has been discovered near the Gulf. It has also been found near the Florida border in Cotton Bayou, AL, at about 1/4 the level as in Homosassa, FL. A WKRG segment from August 19 featured an inland water sample that tested for 13.3 ppm of the Corexit dispersant.

What have I been telling you for months? Corexit is highly toxic and illegal to use anywhere in the world except for the United States. It is being taken up into the clouds and deposited on different areas inland when the rain starts to fall. These poor people live an hour from the coast and I'm willing to bet they did not fill their swimming pool with water from the Gulf of Mexico. BP insists that it is no longer using Corexit and has not used any since May. That is a flat-out lie -- people all over the Gulf Coast state that they have seen Blackwater-style mercenaries on the ground spraying Corexit and dumping it from airplanes flying at night, their lights turned off, in violation of the law.

Now you have the proof that the poison is able to be picked up and set back down on innocent people's property. A recent study found that 50ppm of Corexit, the same amount found in this family's pool, kills over 50% of shrimp larvae. Obviously humans are not as susceptible to the dispersant simply because we are much larger, but I don't think any of us want to develop rashes and start passing dark urine after going for a swim in our own backyards. This family should sue BP for everything a slimy lawyer can dream up -- pain and suffering, property damage, psychological trauma and punitive damages. And the government should investigate BP's continuing use of Corexit, but that will never happen because they are in on the cover-up.

A high-level inquiry into the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found there was “little evidence” for its claims about global warming.

It also said the panel had emphasised the negative impacts of climate change and made “substantive findings” based on little proof. . .

The panel was forced to admit its key claim in support of global warming was lifted from a 1999 magazine article. The report was based on an interview with a little-known Indian scientist who has since said his views were “speculation” and not backed by research.

Independent climate scientist Peter Taylor said last night: “The IPCC’s credibility has been deeply dented and something has to be done. It can’t just be a matter of adjusting the practices. They have got to look at what are the consequences of having got it wrong in terms of what the public think is going on. Admitting that it needs to reform means something has gone wrong and they really do need to look at the science.”

So for 11 years the governments of the world, the media and the crap-whore Al Gore have been lying, pushing their New World Order global warming agenda based on an article which appeared in a magazine. Republicans in Senate Block BP Investigation

The US Senate refused to vote on a legislative bill from the House of Representatives that would have allowed the Presidential Investigation Commission the power to issue subpoenas in the BP oil spill investigation.

Several Democratic senators argued that while the legislation passed the House with a 420-1 vote, that blocking a Senate vote would cover up the truth of the investigation and the Commission would have to rely solely on the willingness of BP executives to provide information.

I hate the Democrat Party in its current configuration with a passion, but I get even more outraged when the Republicans do something as un-American as this. 420 out of 421 House members voted yes on a bill that would have given those who will be charged with investigating BP full subpoena power. With that power the criminals at BP and hopefully some of their minions in the government would be sent to federal P.M.I.T.A. prisons. Now we will be forced to determine what went on in the Gulf oil disaster strictly based on what information those involved will voluntarily provide the investigators. This is an outrage, as President Soetorobama once said.

Whichever Republicans did this should be impeached, even though that's not possible because what they did is not an impeachable offense. They certainly should never be given a single vote again. But somehow the same cabal of criminal vermin from both sides of the aisle keep getting elected over and over again by their idiot constituents who do not pay attention to things like this. I want the names of the slime mold Republicans that blocked this subpoena power. I am willing to bet that a quick review of records will show that they received substantial campaign contributions from BP.

This only goes further to prove in my mind that BP and the government have been working since the beginning of the oil disaster, or as I think of it, the Gulf of Mexico oil terror operation, hand-in-hand to deceive and defraud the American people. The backstabbing Republicans should be brought up on charges under the RICO statutes for colluding with BP in their attempted coverup and sent to prison for 20 years.

The Senate decision is a blow to the Obama administration and considered a major setback in the ongoing investigation. Republicans repeatedly requested the Senate Chair not to allow the proposal to be read, heard or voted upon on the Senate floor, which makes it a partisan issue.

The write, in my opinion, got it wrong -- this is not a blow dealt to the "Obama" administration. Rather he is sighing with relief. I'm not surprised that the media spun the vote before it was taken as if Soetoro actually wanted the truth of the oil disaster out. He does not because he and his people are guilty of the same sort of collusion which the Republicans have now gotten into. Barry does not want a real investigation performed, and that is why he gave Transocean the contract to raise the wreckage of Deepwater Horizon, and that is why his toadie Thad Allen doesn't mind admittedly getting 100% of his information from a single source -- BP's press office.

The entire thing stinks, and the Republicans smell the worst right now. Whether they were straight-up bought off by BP or simply were not intelligent enough to see through the media's spin, voting in spite against something they thought Soetorobama wanted, that is immaterial. I question the motives and the patriotism of anyone who voted to block the American people's right to learn the truth of what has gone on in the Gulf of Mexico. CAT Scans Killing 14,000 Americans Per Year

FDA administrators sought to brush aside evidence that CT scans may be killing thousands of patients a year, say agency scientists.

“I was first ignored, then pressured to change my scientific opinion, and when I refused to do that, I was intimidated and ultimately terminated,” said gastroenterologist and former FDA consultant Julian Nicholas.

The controversy stems from a still-pending application by General Electric (GE) for the approval of CT (computed tomography) scans as tests for colon cancer. GE made the request because although the practice of screening healthy patients with CT scans has become increasingly common, many insurers remains reluctant to pay for it.

The name "CAT scan" was an acronym mean to stand for Computer-aided Axial Tomography. I had one a few years back and it was not a pleasant experience. It has become a very common diagnostic tool in hospitals and can help to save people's lives in extreme circumstances. I believe that the procedure is being overused because it is a good way for cash-strapped hospitals to help recoup some of the losses they endure at the hands of illegal aliens and poor Americans who receive services but pay nothing for their treatment. Now we have evidence that the machines, when used in non-life-threatening cases, can in fact be dangerous.

I am renaming the CAT scan Cancer-Assisting Tomography because that is exactly what the procedure appears to do, especially with repeated use. Most people will never have multiple CAT scans, but some do have repetitive tests done -- athletes who are always breaking bones, people who need repeated internal surgeries, babies born with certain birth defects or congenital abnormalities all can expect repeated CAT scans. This is a problem:

The average U.S. resident is exposed to seven times more non-therapeutic radiation than in 1980. This has been driven in large part by the exploding popularity of CT scans, which expose patients to as much radiation as 400 chest X-rays.

The number of CT scans performed in the United States has increased from three million per year in 1980 to 70 million today. Scientists estimate that this extra radiation exposure kills 14,000 people a year.

Quite a problem indeed. Those figures are stunning. And here's the worst part of it -- the FDA is doing nothing to curtail the widespread and growing use of the machines for the same reason that our criminal government does or does not do anything these days. It is because the politicians and their appointees to agencies like FDA are bought and paid for by large corporations and industry lobbies. General Electric is a major manufacturer of CAT scanners. They also own NBC and are one of Barry Soetorobama's time-share owners. They helped get him elected and are still helping him try to retain any sort of popularity with the public, so in return General Electric gets billions of dollars in contracts for "green energy" programs, which as we all know are Red on the inside.

So if General Electric is, among a handful of others, found to be killing 14,000 Americans per year, and if that number is sure to rise as time goes on due to increasing use of CAT scans, why should the FDA or Soetorobama do anything? As long as Barry isn't killed by cancer from a G.E. machine, why bother ordering the FDA to issue stricter guidelines on the use of the machines or change the rules as to the frequencies and levels of emitted radiation allowed? The president and his family will get the best medical care in the world for the rest of their lives. We do not have the luxury of such protection. So if you are ever in the hospital, sick but not in danger of death, refuse to have a CAT scan performed.

And don't ever buy anything from General Electric again. You can rest assured that that company knows exactly how dangerous their machines are -- companies of that size have teams of accountants and lawyers who calculate the potential legal penalties when they release a new product. They simply calculated that they can make more profit from selling the deadly things than they'll ever be forced to pay in damages. We the American people mean nothing to the globalists, to Barry Soetoro or to companies like G.E. They want to get rid of 95% of the world's population and if Cancer-Assisting Tomography can take out a few thousand pesky Americans every year while making the company a profit, that's killing two birds with one scanner.

Testimony Yields Details of BP Well Design Flaws

In testimony Friday, BP drilling engineer Brett Cocales said it was Guide who had given the order to use fewer safety devices, known as centralizers, than recommended by a contractor. . .

Jesse Gagliano, an employee for contractor Halliburton, has testified he suggested to BP that it place 21 centralizers in the well bore. But BP opted to use six. Two days before the disaster, he sent the company an e-mail warning that using fewer centralizers could result in "severe" gas flow.

Cocales said two other drilling engineers in the BP Houston office, Mark Hafle and Brian Morel, were responsible for designing the well and recommended that fewer safety devices be used.

Hafle and Morel refused to testify this week, invoking their 5th Amendment right not to incriminate themselves.

I am neither an engineer nor an accountant. I have never been tasked with designing and paying to build an experimental "super-deep" oil well nearly a mile below the waves. But if I were the accountant and the engineers told me that 21 "centralizers" were necessary in order to assure safety at the work site, I would approve that expenditure. I have no idea what a centralizer costs but each couldn't be more than a few thousand dollars. The people who designed BP's nightmare well asked for 21, and the company only approved 6 to be used. Ask yourself why.

The same reason why they chose Deepwater Horizon, a vessel with a terrible safety record and over two dozen piece of broken or malfunctioning safety devices. The same reason that two separate management teams were onboard that rig battling for control. The same reason that BP ignored workers at the MC252 site literally screaming and swearing over the phone to headquarters, yelling that the well could not blow up, but that it would definitely blow up if the company ordered the crew to continue. Well, it blew up alright. Ask yourself why.

BP wanted the well to blow out because their aim, as ordered by the globalists, was to create an environmental disaster. This was for two main purposes -- damage the economy of the United States but more importantly to provide what they thought would be a mandate for Barry Soetorobama and Nancy Lugosi and Harry Greed to ram a carbon tax through Congress and into law. It never mattered if BP would actually be held financially responsible for the damage they were to cause. If necessary the company would be sacrificed like a pawn in a chess game. If the Demoncats could retain control of both houses of Congress and fend off investigations into the Gulf oil disaster, saving BP, then that would be a bonus. But if BP had to take a fall in order to get the all-important crap-and-trade, so be it.

What the globalists miscalculated was the staying power of Soetorobama's popularity. If the oil disaster had occurred a few months earlier, he very well might have gotten away with signing into law the largest tax increase ever. But there had been an intervention -- whether you prefer to think of it as being from God, nature or just plain luck, the original plan was to have the oil terror operation carried out in 2009. But a hurricane blew through the Gulf and damaged the ship that started drilling the Macondo well, the Marianas. So Deepwater Horizon had to be brought in to drill that second well, the one which of course does not exist, the one that blew out and killed 11 men and effectively has killed most sea life in those waters.

And like rats deserting a sinking ship, the people involved in the operation are beginning to turn on each other. BP is trying to spin this thing in the hearings to finger a couple of individual engineers and operators. They'll probably get away with it, but the real criminals are the upper management who signed off on the substandard design, knowing that the well would fail, wanting it to blow out. It's patently obvious what this entire incident has been -- a successful blowout, a failed attempt at a carbon tax, and now an ongoing CYA operation. From hereon out the Gulf oil terror operation is a loser for BP -- no carbon tax and more evidence being gathered every day that the well is still leaking, the petroleum is seeping up from the ground itself, and the company has been lying about it "efforts" at cleaning up the mess.

The Gulf oil disaster is a terrible blow to the five states it directly affects and even to those it does not. But the silver lining in this is that it proves that the inbred globalist elites are not infallible. They make mistakes like we all do. They are not invulnerable, and we who know their plans are rapidly gaining on them. More people are being awoken every day and more beginning to take action against their evil plans. It will take years, perhaps decades to clean up the Gulf of Mexico, but we don't have the luxury of waiting decades to defeat the globalists. It must be done immediately.

Treimer represents John Phommivong, a 29 year-old who is the son of parents who fled Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.

He said the defendants were bored at their jobs and decided to look up the student-loan records of various celebrities, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

None of the defendants got into any trouble until they looked up the student-loan records of President Obama. Then the FBI descended upon them.

Barry and Mrs. Soetorobama have already spent well over a million dollars on lawyers in their desperate attempt to keep a hermetic seal on all of the president's records, from his birth certificate to his medical records to his college grade transcripts and student loan records. Why would the criminal, illegal alien, verminous eco-fascist president not want his loan records made public? I doubt it is because he is embarrassed at how long it took him to pay back, or the amount he borrowed.

The reason for this is because they would show him to have applied for special loans as a foreign exchange student, i.e. a student with Indonesian citizenship. That would be a loser either way for Soetorobama -- if he was lying then, if he was an American with citizenship in good standing, then he defrauded the government, the schools and any private scholarship organizations with which he applied for the loans. If he's lying now, which I believe to be the case, and still legally is an Indonesian, then he has committed the highest form of treason I can imagine.

Harris County Clerk Beverly Kaufman Friday morning said she is confident of timely, clean elections in November, even after a fire that destroyed the county's entire inventory of 10,000 electronic voting machines. . .

The three-alarm blaze started about 4:15 a.m. at the football field-size warehouse the county uses to store its election equipment. Firefighters extinguished the flames about four hours later.

Arson is a serious crime and I do not condone it, but the fire which destroyed all of Houston's electronic voting machines was indeed the act of criminals, I would lean towards the lighter side of the punishment spectrum for the perpetrators. These machines have been proven to be easy to tamper with -- go and watch the HBO documentary Hacking Democracy for the nasty truth about these devices. Electronic voting machines can be hacked into using simple techniques, and that is not by accident, rather by design.

George W. Bush, whom I stupidly voted for both times he ran for the presidency, was likely given that office due to direct voting fraud. But he didn't have to employ the same physical voting fraud tactics that politicians have used since written history began. Instead, a few operatives in undisclosed typed a few commands on their keyboards and instantaneously, ruthlessly, the vote of the American people was nullified. And the same intelligence agents, working for the globalist elite, were standing in November of 2008, should early returns show that "Barack Obama" was either losing to John McShame or if the phony conservative were running too close to their hand-picked minion for comfort.

Until all electronic voting machines are thrown onto the scrap heap and voters once again can trust our elections, we can never be certain that the people being elected were actually elected. EPA Rejects Petition to Ban Lead Bullets

EPA today denied a petition submitted by several outside groups for the agency to implement a ban on the production and distribution of lead hunting ammunition. EPA reached this decision because the agency does not have the legal authority to regulate this type of product under the Toxic Substances Control Act -- nor is the agency seeking such authority.

Two things to say about this -- thank God, literally, and I am truly astonished. All this week conservatives and gun owners had been dreading the decision to come from the EPA. A trio of verminous, liberal enviro-fascist organizations petitioned that agency to ban lead bullets and fishing weights. Because of their "concern" for the "environment," of course, not because the liberals want to destroy the Second Amendment. I can't believe the EPA actually denied that request. Don't be surprised if Soetorobama replaces the head of that agency soon, or if he "retires" to spend more time with his family. Barry would love nothing more than to neuter the gun owners of America. BP's attempt to "fish" three pieces of pipe from the blow-our preventer of its runaway Macondo well has not worked and the company is preparing to move forward with removing the blow-out preventer and replacing it with a new one.

The pieces of pipe have settled against the blow-out preventer and the company is unable to retrieve them, National Incident Commander Thad Allen said in a press briefing this morning.

Officials made the decision to stop attempting to fish out the pipe "due to the apparent fragility of the pipe, which keeps breaking off ... and the unknown condition of the blow-out preventer," Allen said.

What a surprise! BP has failed yet again in their operations at site MC252. If they were even trying to succeed, who knows. They had been d!@king around the last few days supposedly trying to fish their well pipe out of the broken blowout preventer but now have given up. Why this was even attempted was never made clear to the press or public. The idiot who is nominally in charge of the Gulf oil disaster response, Thad Allen himself , seemed not to be able to provide a cogent reason for the attempt.

So now on Monday the cap which was put on top of the well on July 15 will be removed and "temporarily stored nearby" on the sea floor, after which time BP will try and replace the failed BOP with a new, sturdier one. That operation is expected to last until Wednesday. The brilliant reporter who wrote this article seemed not to grasp the obvious -- after the cap is removed, and until the new BOP is in place and the well is once again capped, the oil and methane will flow unimpeded. Unless BP has plans to somehow shunt the flow up into its Q4000 burner vessel or into tankers, this will be the case. Again I do not know because no one evidently thought to ask the submoron Allen about that detail.

This whole things stinks. The laughable Admiral already has admitted to the media that he gets 100% of his information from a single source -- BP. The government has already announced their upping of the ante in the cover-up of this crime in the Gulf -- that taxpayers will pay Transocean itself to raise the wrecked equipment from the deep. The BOP is said to be the key piece of evidence from the deep. Do you honestly think, with hundreds of billions of dollars potentially at stake, that BP and Transocean will hand over the real evidence of their crime to the government?

Maybe they will, since BP owns Barry Soetorobama, but I doubt that will happen. I am guessing, wildly speculating, that the company will either present a different, doctored BOP to the government, or that just as they were unable to "fish" the broken well pipe out from that device, they will somehow be unable to raise the BOP. Perhaps when the well's cap is removed, the renewed petroleum geyser will rocket the BOP away, and BP will "lose" it. After all, even with multiple ROVs grasping parts of the BOP with their thrusters acting in unison to drag it safely away, you all saw the power and thrust of the gusher. There's no way that the subs could counter the force of that oil and methane unless somehow the equipment stack contains valves below the level of the BOP that could be closed to shut off that flow.

I don't know -- this is all speculation. And it is speculation because BP are still being suspiciously secretive about what is going on at MC252. The well-meaning but facile Thad Allen doesn't have a clue, and he's supposed to be in charge, so how could I know? I'm raising questions which the public deserves to have answered. The media are not doing their job, so we "small people," bloggers and the like are forced to do it for them. BP will go down for their crimes, we will see to it. Unfortunately for Tony Hayward, who loves to get out on his yacht and flaunt his lifestyle while the Gulf of Mexico is destroyed, there is no fishing to be done in federal prison. Activities are strictly limited, and he'll be concentrating on keeping from having to fish certain substances out of his own pipe. Massive Fish Kills Continue to Spread

"By our estimates there were thousands - and I'm talking about 5,000 to 15,000 - dead fish," St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro told reporters. "Different species were found dead, including crabs, sting rays, eel, drum, speckled trout, red fish, you name it, included in that kill."

The next day, a thick, orange substance with tar balls and a "strong diesel smell" was discovered around Grassy Island, near the fish kill, according to a news release.

Taffaro admitted that there was oil in the area, but cautioned against assuming it was the cause of the fish kill. . .

But Dr. Cake, along with commercial fishermen and Gulf Coast environmentalists, are drawing direct parallels to BP's oil disaster and the use of toxic dispersants as the likely cause of the increased numbers of fish kills they are witnessing.

"There are several parallels to the spill," Dr. Cake added. "We have evidence from fisherman operating in the VOO [Vessels of Opportunity] fleet and fishermen in the area who observed the spraying of dispersants by both aircraft and vessels in the immediate vicinity of the fish kills. Therein lies one triggering mechanism."

He said another factor is that dispersed oil "provides nutrients for phytoplankton, and this may have triggered a bloom of plankton, otherwise known as a red tide, and you would then have a fish kill from the red tide organisms. I understand that the phytoplankton out there is causing fish kills, but still the triggering mechanism is the presence of the oil and dispersants."

I told you this would happen. The scientists who have been bought off by BP claim that it is natural hypoxia, or lack of oxygen in the water, that is causing the fish kills being reported all over the Gulf Coast and along Eastern seaboard up to New England. It is not. The honest scientists know why there is not enough oxygen in the water to sustain life -- BP's massive use of Corexit and its reactions will the hundreds of millions of gallons of oil and hundreds of millions of cubic feet of methane released. Egg Recall Grows to Affect Entire Country

The massive egg recall due to salmonella contamination is the latest proof that the government is incapable of or does not in fact want to protect the American people from dangerous foods. Alex Jones spoke briefly on the radio today about the recall, saying he thought the government may have staged the salmonella problem as part of the overall push to federalize the entire business of food in the United States. I personally don't think they put salmonella in the eggs. They don't have to. All the government has to do is to keep on looking the other way, failing to properly inspect the giant agribusiness, and problems like this will occur naturally.

I'm sure you remember the massive spinach recall a couple of years back, when it was literally impossible to buy bagged spinach at the grocery store. We had the lettuce recall, I seem to remember a recall of green onion sparked by people sickened at Taco Bell, then a couple of times a year there are massive recalls of beef, chicken, pork and turkey meat. There currently are recalls of deli meat and beef. Let's take a look at just the past seven days' worth of recalls from the FDA:

Fantastic. You might say wait, this proves the FDA are doing a good job if they are finding contaminated or wrongly-formulated food and products like diet supplements. That's only half the story -- finding the products are faulty once they are in the retail consumer chain. What they should be doing a much better job of is inspecting the large, corporate farms, dairies, ranches, meat packing plants, food processing plants and the factories that make drugs and dietary supplements. But they aren't and it's because of the same reason why the government lets big companies get away with violations which mom-and-pop operations would be crucified for: the government is bought and paid for by these giant mega-corporations in the same way that they are also owned by the banksters.

It's a buddy system where if you're a friend, a patron of your Congressman or Senator, you can get away with murder. Well, manslaughter anyway -- almost every time one of these giant recalls is announced it is on the heels of stories of dead Americans. Thus far I haven't heard any deaths reported from the eggs, just of violently ill people. But there are probably still a lot of recalled eggs out there in people's refrigerators that should have been thrown away. More people will likely get ill from the eggs, since there are people who will hear news of a recall but not take the time to check the carton they bought.

The whole FDA failure to properly regulate the food industry is just another example of what Jones talks constantly about -- we pay ever increasing taxes and get in return ever diminishing services. Police departments like that of Oakland will no longer respond to car thefts or poisonings or over two dozen other serious crimes. But Soetorobama wants a carbon tax, Pelosi and Reid want a V.A.T. and Philadelphia is trying to charge people $300 for the privilege of exercising their First Amendment right to free speech, should anyone dare to write a weblog. It's a disgusting slide into tyranny we are witnessing. The egg recall may not seem connected in any way, but everything is connected at some level. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

What you are looking at is a special camera that BP inserted into the blowout preventer as part of their "fishing" operation to remove the drill pipe from the BOP, ahead of them replacing that broken piece of equipment with a new one. The problem: bubbles of oil coming out. According to BP and proven yet again to be a lie, no oil or gas is leaking from the well. But many videos have been captured and uploaded to Youtube showing just that. This leak is particularly troubling because it means that there is still some communication, as BP calls it, between their petroleum reservoir and the wellhead.

BP said that after the ostensible successful cap was put in place that there was no communication, the well is sealed, everything is fine and the disaster never happened. This proves that they lied again, but after the hundreds of lies we've already been told to absorb I suppose this little video won't be interesting enough to the media to make in on CNN or Fox. But if there's even a trickle of communication, that means the top-kill was not 100% successful. And what I'm afraid of is another methane kick like the one that took out Deepwater Horizon blowing the well(s) wide open again.

No one can say whether that will happen, only that it is a remote possibility. But the oil and methane still trapped in that reservoir is moving around under pressure, trying to find its way out through the cracks in the sea floor and through the numerous small leaks still at the well(s). I hope BP can successfully remove the old, damaged BOP and put the new one on without incident, but I'm nervous.

Chemist Confirms Corexit Still Being Applied

Naman further said he saw mercenaries dressed in all black fatigues, using gps coordinates, applying Corexit 9527 at Dauphin Island and at Bayou La Batre, Alabama. The mercenaries were "Blackwater"-type mercenaries, and Naman assumed they must have been hired either by BP or the government.

Naman also told me that Corexit 9527 is being sprayed at night, and that it is being applied in such a haphazard manner that undiluted 9527 is running onto beach sand.

I urge you to read the article. Naman is a chemist who tested water samples for dispersants. "9527" refers to a lesser known and used variant of Corexit, the type usually simply referred to as Corexit is Corexit 9500. The chemists eyewitness account of Blackwater-type mercenaries dressed in black and secretly applying dispersants at night corroborates what other residents of the Gulf have been telling the media. But BP says that they are no longer using any dispersant.

It's obvious what's going on here -- BP is continuing to try and hide the oil, keeping it in small drops and sunk still below the surface of the water. So they've hired some unknown company to continue spraying the deadly poison Corexits at night. Others have reported planes flying at night with their lights off, which is illegal, also spraying Corexit from the air. I have no doubt that BP also has ships running around dumping even more into the water. But according to the company and the Coast Guard this is not happening.

Except that it is, and the entire cover-up of the extent of the Gulf oil disaster is starting to fly apart. BP and Barry Soetorobama can no longer pretend that nothing ever happened and that the Gulf of Mexico is as normal as it was before Deepwater Horizon exploded, marking the beginning of the worst environmental disaster in the history of the United States of America. How much longer will the citizens of the five Gulf states continue to allow BP to have secret mercenary squads spraying Corexit on the ground, and to have planes flying at night spraying it from above? It's time for the citizens and their local sheriffs to get directly involved.

A Biochemical Time Bomb Ticks Away in the Gulf

Recently, frustrated scientists presented evidence that millions of Gulf area residents were poisoned by the BP Gulf disaster. Worse, they believe that millions more could be exposed to long term poisoning.

Yet other than those worried scientists few seemed to care.

Now more frightening evidence has emerged: areas of the Gulf Coast may have been saturated with high levels of benzene, hydrogen sulfide and radioactive hydrocarbon effluents--three deadly substances that can cause disease and death years after the initial exposures. . .

The methane reached such high levels of density in the Gulf that brilliant scientists like Dr. John Kessler of Texas A&M recorded stunning readings of methane--amounts one million times higher than normal. Although access to the forbidden zone has been restored, a partial news blackout remains in place blocking public access to the data that measured toxicity in the Gulf waters and Gulf states from April into August. . .

Some environmental experts are calling what’s pouring into the land, sea and air from the seabed breach ‘a chemical cocktail of poisons.’

Areas of methane dead zones devoid of oxygen are continuing to drive species of fish into foreign waters, are killing plankton and other tiny sea life that are the foundation for the entire food chain, and are polluting the air with cancer-causing chemicals and poisonous rainfalls.

And before the news blackout fully descended, the EPA released data that benzene levels in New Orleans had rocketed to as high as 3,000 parts per billion (ppb).

Benzene is extremely toxic, even short term exposure at low levels can cause agonizing illness and slow death from cancerous lesions and leukemia years later. But 3,000ppb is far from a low reading.

Hydrogen sulfide was also detected by the EPA monitoring stations around the New Orleans area. The EPA reported hydrogen sulfide levels as high as 1200ppb. A normal, safe level falls between 5 to 10ppb.

It sounds like the latest bad sequel to George Romero's classic horror flick, but some scientists are beginning to sound the alarm that people in the Gulf states have been and still are being poisoned, they just don't know it yet. The chemicals released naturally from BP's petroleum deposit and unnaturally from their Corexit and its interaction with the oil can kill a human being straight up if inhaled in sufficient concentration. But the more insidious side of the benzene, methane, hydrogen sulfide and all the rest is that in lower concentrations, it could take years for the damage now being done to be seen in the population.

I've written about the laundry list of symptoms that can develop with low-level but long-term exposure to these poisons, and do not need to go over that list again. But in their desperate attempt to hide the true scope of the Gulf oil disaster from the public, BP has dumped over 40 million gallons of Corexit 9500 into the Gulf of Mexico, and estimates range from a low of 140 million gallons of oil released to as many as 190 million. Even more methane was released, as experts estimated that 60%+ of the material spewing from BP's well was methane, and oil was in a slight minority by volume.

And the hiding of the oil by means of dispersant means that it will take much, much longer for all the oil to finally make its way out of the water and onto land. That indeed was BP's entire point in using so much deadly Corexit. Think about this -- Corexit was used in the cleanup efforts following the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident. Nearly all of the cleanup workers from that disaster are dead -- they died at an average age of 51, directly caused by their exposure to Corexit. Now obviously the residents of the Gulf Coast will not be exposed to the high levels of dispersant that the Valdez cleanup crews were, so we won't see whole town of people dropping dead instantly, as we have seen entire schools of fish do.

Instead, it will be a creeping death. A delayed one. Instead of dying quickly, people in the areas where the most oil and gases and Corexit happens to land will simply die at much higher rates from cancer, organ failure and blood and neurological disorders than the rest of the country. And that will be years down the road, so BP hopes it can put enough time between now and then that it will be impossible to prove cases of manslaughter in criminal court, or be found liable for damages to families of lost loved ones in civil court. I'm never going to the beaches of the Gulf Coast or East Coast again, and neither should anyone else who values their health.

Appeals Court: Gov't Has Right To Track You With GPS

Government agents can sneak onto your property in the middle of the night, put a GPS device on the bottom of your car and keep track of everywhere you go. This doesn't violate your Fourth Amendment rights, because you do not have any reasonable expectation of privacy in your own driveway — and no reasonable expectation that the government isn't tracking your movements.

The rogue, criminal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which Savage calls the Ninth Jerk-it Court of Schlameels, has just ruled that the government has the right to invade your property, secretly place a GPS tracking device on your vehicle, then covertly track your movements, invading your privacy. But it's worse than that, because the court carved out an exception -- rich people who live behind fences and gates will not be subject to such intrusion, because the physical barriers they can afford to erect surrounding their property create a reasonable expectation of privacy. But you and I have no such protection, so, as the court ruled, if deliverymen and postal workers can walk up to your driveway, so can the FBI:

The judges veered into offensiveness when they explained why Pineda-Moreno's driveway was not private. It was open to strangers, they said, such as delivery people and neighborhood children, who could wander across it uninvited. (See the misadventures of the CIA.)

Chief Judge Alex Kozinski, who dissented from this month's decision refusing to reconsider the case, pointed out whose homes are not open to strangers: rich people's. The court's ruling, he said, means that people who protect their homes with electric gates, fences and security booths have a large protected zone of privacy around their homes. People who cannot afford such barriers have to put up with the government sneaking around at night.

This ruling, at least in the states affected by the Ninth's decision, effectively ends the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. No more rights for the poor people who live under the thumb of this collection of vermin who call themselves jurists. This decision is an outrage and the people of California and the other states within their jurisdiction should be picketing the courthouse. But I doubt we will see any sort of meaningful protest because the government and media have been getting us slowly used to the continual erosion of our rights. The Constitution is dead, long live the Constitution.

Plenty of liberals have objected to this kind of spying, but it is the conservative Chief Judge Kozinski who has done so most passionately. "1984 may have come a bit later than predicted, but it's here at last," he lamented in his dissent. And invoking Orwell's totalitarian dystopia where privacy is essentially nonexistent, he warned: "Some day, soon, we may wake up and find we're living in Oceania."

Obama Minion Chu Told BP to Proceed With Dangerous 'Top-Kill'

Energy Secretary (and, of course, Winner of the Nobel Prize) Steven Chu told The Washington Post’s Joel Achenbach that he was responsible for convincing BP that the well had NOT lost integrity.

The Post reported Chu said, “BP engineers had assumed, after the ‘top kill’ failed, that the well had a loss of ‘integrity’ somewhere down below the wellhead, with breaches that let the mud from the operation surge into the rock formation instead of straight down the well.”

According to the article, Chu said, “I said, ‘No, I don’t think so, there’s another scenario,’” after which he suggested, “They could close the well and see what happened.”

Chu added, “The worst-case scenario is you create a fissure that doesn’t heal, and the entire reservoir empties.”

“By choking the flow at the top, the pressures could build to such high levels that the oil and gas could explode laterally, through the well casing. The hydrocarbons might flow into the surrounding formations and then work their way up, into the gulf,” reported Achenbach.

What have we here? I've been concentrating on demonizing BP for screwing up at every juncture in the Gulf oil disaster. I had only been criticizing the Soetorobama administration for doing nothing nothing to help and for stalling any meaningful cleanup and any proper investigation. Now I know why they are reluctant to let the truth come out. It's worse than I thought.

Steven Chu, who serves under Dear Leader Soetoro as head of the Department of Energy, encouraged BP to continue the very dangerous "top-kill" operation, even after BP engineers voiced their concerns that doing so could fracture the sea floor, making an already terrible disaster very much worse. Mr. Chu's bizarre reply, before telling them to go ahead and pump even more mud and cement under pressure into the rock formation:

“The worst-case scenario is you create a fissure that doesn’t heal, and the entire reservoir empties.”

Allow me to translate the situation for you. BP said to Soetorobama that they did not want to proceed with the second "top-kill," after the first attempt failed entirely. Barry told his minion Chu to do everything he could to make the Gulf oil disaster story go away before the November elections, so the brilliant Nobel Prize Winner rolled the dice and told BP to continue.

As the engineers feared, and as Chu and his boss hoped wouldn't but knew might happen, that high-pressure pumping indeed fractured the well casing to an even greater extent than had been done by the initial kick that doomed Deepwater Horizon, and the oil and gas from that giant petroleum reservoir is indeed leaking out through the sea floor at countless locations up to 20 miles away from the well sites.

Now we know why the government are cooperating with BP in trying to lie to the public that 76% of the oil magically disappeared. It was the government that all but ordered BP to continue the top-kill. And that procedure, while allowing the outward appearance of a neatly capped well with nice, clean water around it, caused something much worse than even the gushing well before its cap -- as Mr. Chu predicted, fissures have been created which will not heal. And the entire reservoir will not empty -- I must hold him to task since I'm a mere college graduate with a degree in hard science and he received the Nobel Prize...

Unless the sea floor breaks up entirely, in one massive, simultaneous shattering event, not all the oil and methane will get out. Just most of it. Because of the pressure of the water sitting on top of the reservoir, it will continue its slow leaks until such time as the pressure in the petroleum deposit equalizes with that of the water. But that's bad enough. Maybe Mr. Chu should go back to school and stop meddling in affairs in which he has no special education. It may have been his enlightened advice to BP which will end up meaning the Gulf states enjoying years and years of oil to come.

Oil and Methane Causing Sea Life to Attempt Escaping Water

BP Plc’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico may be exacerbating a natural phenomenon that causes fish, crabs, eels and shrimp to swarm the shoreline to escape oxygen-depleted sea waters.

Called “jubilees” by locals because of the opportunity to scoop up seafood in buckets, they typically appear during the summer along the Gulf Coast. This year, scientists say jubilees have occurred in open water for the first time, raising concern that low-oxygen areas are expanding because of the more than 4 million barrels of oil BP’s Macondo well leaked into the Gulf.

Low oxygen in the water because of oil and methane from the BP spill contributed to a “jubilee-like effect” in late June off the coast of Fort Morgan, Alabama, at the mouth of Mobile Bay, Monty Graham, a senior marine scientist at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab in Alabama, said in a telephone interview. Catfish, shrimp, crab and flounder piled up along an offshore sandbar, until the sharks moved in, Graham, 45, said.

How can something called a jubilee possibly be anything but a good thing? When it involves BP's oil disaster. Let me get this straight -- the oil and methane release is causing oxygen levels in the water to drop so low that creatures which can live only in water are jumping onto the beaches, out of the water, in order to try not to asphyxiate? But BP and Soetorobama say there never was a problem, certainly not a disaster, and that minor problem has been solved, so vote for your Dimocrats in November.

Barry ate a fish taco during his brief visit to the Gulf but he brought all his food and his chefs with him. He went swimming with his daughter but only the Secret Service and a Red House photographer were allowed to accompany them, they did not swim in the actual Gulf but in a protected bay into which no Gulf water flows, but which instead feeds water out into the Gulf from rivers. And since only one picture was released showing Soetoro and his offspring in clear blue water, while the water in that bay is greenish and somewhat opaque due to algal blooms, there is much doubt that he even swam anywhere other than in a swimming pool with fresh, treated water.

One bit of advice to the people in the Gulf states who might be tempted to collect the bounty of fish that are washing up on shore during this jubilee -- stay away, as far away as possible. Those fish are poisoned and will poison you. But the economy, destroyed by design even before April 20 and damaged to an even greater extent after, will probably prompt some poor souls who can no longer afford to eat to collect and cook these fish. In my opinion, BP will be responsible for their sicknesses and even deaths just as they are responsible for the manslaughter of the 11 men killed aboard Deepwater Horizon. They must pay.

Hydrogen Cyanide Levels Reach Deadly Range in LA

Hydrogen sulfide is both an irritant and a chemical asphyxiant with effects on both oxygen utilization and the central nervous system. Its health effects can vary depending on the level and duration of exposure. Repeated exposure can result in health effects occurring at levels that were previously tolerated without any effect.

Low concentrations irritate the eyes, nose, throat and respiratory system (e.g., burning/ tearing of eyes, cough, shortness of breath). Asthmatics may experience breathing difficulties. The effects can be delayed for several hours, or sometimes several days, when working in low-level concentrations.
Repeated or prolonged exposures may cause eye inflammation, headache, fatigue, irritability, insomnia, digestive disturbances and weight loss.
Moderate concentrations can cause more severe eye and respiratory irritation (including coughing, difficulty breathing, accumulation of fluid in the lungs), headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, staggering and excitability.

High concentrations can cause shock, convulsions, inability to breathe, extremely rapid unconsciousness, coma and death. Effects can occur within a few breaths, and possibly a single breath.

EPA air monitoring has constantly shown much higher levels of H2S since July and reached an astonishing 9 PPB on July 30th which is over 64 times the exposure level.

The cumulative average of amount of exposure since is currently at 0.8 PPB ...which means that residents have on average been subjected to almost 6 times the exposure limit over the last month.

The shrimp are dead, the fish are dead, plants are dying from the toxic rain, the oxygen levels in the ocean are depleted to a state never before recorded, and now Louisianans are subject to an average 6 times the safe level of H2S and a peak of 64 times the maximum level the EPA will allow. And these numbers are from almost a month ago.

The more interesting thing about this story is the timing, as Mike Rivero pointed out on his radio show. Because according to BP and Barry Soetorobama, no oil or methane has been released in the entire region containing their Macondo well since they allegedly capped Well A on July 15. So why did the levels of hydrogen cyanide continue to rise, peaking 15 days after that? Yes it would take a couple of days for the gas to come onto shore from the former drilling site of Deepwater Horizon, but over two weeks? I don't think that's the explanation.

The unfortunate truth is that even if BP was able to successfully cap their well(s), that no longer makes the slightest difference in the long-term outcome here. Since, as I've written many times, the well casing is compromised and because BP damaged the sea floor's integrity even more than it was damaged in the initial blowout, trying their high-pressure "top-kill" pumping, oil, methane and the other nasty things like benzene and H2S are simply leaking out of the ground instead of from the broken well. We have not even begun to see the reality of the biological devastation that BP's actions will have caused. It will end up being equivalent to that of a chemical weapons attack from a foreign enemy.

At this point, BP is a de facto foreign enemy operating inside our borders, in effect sabotaging the country. The peoples of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida know this, because our states are being directly affected. But people in all corners of America, from Alaska and Hawaii to California and Maine should share equal concern, because this Gulf oil disaster will end up affecting everyone, if not all to equal degrees. The Gulf of Mexico will not yield usable numbers of healthy fish, shrimp, oysters or shellfish this year or next for sure, and probably not for years to come. As in zero fishing industry for the near future.

Fish are dying by the tens of thousands and washing up on shore along the East Coast now, from Florida all the way up to New England. The fishing industry in the Atlantic will probably not be completely wiped out as the Gulf's has been, but it will suffer significant damage. Give the oil and methane and Corexit another couple of weeks to works their way up to Maine and maybe Red Lobster will have to rethink its corporate identity and perhaps re-open as El Taco Rojo if it wants to survive this disaster.

Farmers in the southeastern United States will be at the mercy of the weather, but certainly some crop damage will occur as toxic rain deposits on the fields the poison gases it picked up from the Gulf. This has already started. And the long term damage to the human population is still insidiously hidden because it is just that -- a threat that will become apparent only after time. The increased rate of miscarriage in coastal communities, the increase in cancers, kidney and liver diseases, blood disorders and all the rest of the horrors that Corexit 9500 cause in people and animals will take years to appear and be recorded.

I've been writing about these things since weeks after Deepwater Horizon exploded and I sounded like a nut to the average reader. Now all the dire predictions (with the exception of the mass evacuations I warned of) are being seen to have come true, nearly every day bringing a new horror story which appears in mainstream news. In my opinion the Gulf oil disaster is the crime of the century thus far. I certainly hope that at some point, after Barry Soetoro and his criminal government are swept out of power, BP will be held accountable for this attack on the United States. The oil and gas are harmful enough to the water and its plant and animal life but the Corexit they are still using (while denying it) will have caused the worst of the damage to the people of the Gulf Coast. I hope the situation isn't as dire as I paint, but I fear that is exactly the case.

Oil, Methane, Corexit Combined to Kill Shrimp Population

Just after leaving the boat launch, we pass a shrimper coming back in.

"How did you do out there?" Craig asks him. "Nothing. Nothing at all," the despondent fisherman replies. "How much do you usually catch?" Craig asks. "Hundreds of pounds, sometimes a thousand pounds," comes the reply.

Craig looks at me and says, "That’s not good."

Minutes later another shrimper passes us, returning to port. "How’d you do?" Craig asks. "We caught 12 shrimp," he replies, "That’s one-two shrimp."

A brief reminder of the toxicity of the dispersants BP is using in the Gulf: "According to the EPA’s latest analysis of dispersant toxicity released in the document Comparative Toxicity of Eight Oil Dispersant Products on Two Gulf of Mexico Aquatic Test Species, Corexit 9500, at a concentration of 42 parts per million, killed 50% of mysid shrimp tested." Most of the remaining shrimp died shortly thereafter.
