Back of the Bus

Obama Attempts to Rally Failing Democrat Party

[Obama] said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

If any other politician had told a group of people people that they "gotta sit in the back," Jesse Hijackson and Al Sharktongue would be screaming about the obvious racism. After all, Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King helped to bring about the enlightenment that ended the horrors of segregated schools, restaurants and buses decades ago. The only time now when people are forced to sit in the back of a bus is when all the other seats are full. But Barry Soetoro can get away with saying this because, as we all know, he is America's first post-racial president. Right.
